It costs us thousands of dollars and service fees for repairs that were never fixed or were damaged more . They would never get our boat into the water till well into July even though all their boats got in the water. The repair guys don't know their job and they were just screwing everything up. SInce we've left we've had almost no money In repair Bills and no frustration or headaches with the new Marina . It is the worst run Marina I've ever seen. read more

Browns Point used to be a nice marina until Investors took it over. It was taken over by a group of suits that had no clue how to treat people or run a marina. Super storm Sandy was Browns Points biggest down fall. It seems they were unprepared to salvage any boats. The investors didn't have any insurance on their equipment, or the workshop. The fork lifts were out of commission, and no cranes were brought in to salvage customers boats. Penny wise, pound foolish. they were complete fools, leaving their customers boats strewn around the creek. Wagners marina across the street had my boat pulled out of the weeds and up on blocks in days, while Browns Point sat on their hands unprepared to help anyone. The end result is my boat was up on blocks so long it was pilfered beyond recognition. The outdrive, winshield, bimini and frame were gone first, then they entire interior including the seat frames disappeared. If Browns Point had been a bit more on the ball, my boat wouldn't have been totaled, since the 2 year old engine never went under. More bad news is years later after the "investors fired SAM the most hard working boat yard manager I ever saw,. They began trying to double bill customers for work that wasn't performed, and work that was paid for. They called me more than a few times asking me questions about bills from 2 years prior. Storage fees for a boat that wasn't stored there because it was totaled, and I no longer owned it. Outstanding invoices for repairs I had already paid for. Their bookkeeper (only worked a few hours a day) had no clue as what she was doing, so they began re-billing everyone. They are extremely incompetent business people. When Sam was there it was a pleasant atmosphere. When they showed up it started to turn. They actually had the audacity to turn my account over for collections. What a laugh. I would certainly steer clear of Browns Point, since every bit of honesty and character left when Sam did. try Wagner's or Pedersen's, they are both family owned businesses, not suits. read more

Sadly, I find it very difficult to say anything good about this marina. We have been customers for over ten years and the level of service has gone downhill. Parking is difficult because they use most of the lot to store the larger boats. The dock hands seem inexperienced and are under staffed. We keep our boat on the rack. We need to rely on the dock hands to launch it. Last week we brought the boat back to the dock by 2:30 and told them we were done for the day. They dock hands leave at 4:00. We happen to pass the marina around 7 and noticed our boat had never been taken out. In addition, someone had rafted their boat to ours because there weren't any spots left in the staging area. In other words, the people on that boat along with all their belongings needed to pass through our boat to get to the dock. The office staff is mediocre at best. We've had a number of problems recently and while they are now settled, it wasn't without headache. The fish cleaning stations are filthy and do not have running water. If you're lucky it will be lower tide where you clean your fish because the fish cleaning stations are kept in the parking lot where it floods during high tide. We called ahead today (1:30) to have our boat put in the water as we were having guests with us for a sunset cruise. We arrived to find they either put in someone else's boat (similar to ours) or forgot to put our boat in altogether. It's a shame because we were happy here for many years. The previous dock hands John and Wyatt ran that yard like a well oiled machine. They didn't leave until all boats were put away or were sure that the boat had a place to dock when it returned. The also knew which boat belonged to each customer. Simple improvements to the fish cleaning stations, longer hours for the dock hands and better communication between the office and the dock hands would alleviate many of their problems. read more

Horrible service here. Took them 3 months to dewinterize and service our boat. Approved work to be done come to find out when we went to launch nothing was done that we asked. Only thing they did was what they recommended. They never return your phone calls. I had to call multiple times to check up on service that wasn't done. They only call you non stop when they want money from you. Once we went to launch the boat is was filthy and had not been painted when that was the first thing we requested. They said our boat would be in the water to take come to find out when we got there is was on a rack. I would not reccomend this marina to anyone!!! read more

Almost $600 to winterize a 20 HP outboard motor & replace a propeller. $150 an hour labor charges in their off season! I would have returned every winter if their prices had be reasonable. Stay away. read more

This I is the third year I have kept my boat here. Sam the owner as well as John, Wyatt and the rest of the staff are great people. As many marinas, Sandy destroyed them, so much of the facilities are new. read more
