One of the shiftiest attorneys I've ever encountered. I have hired and fired several. She was one of the worst. Her father was an attorney, that's sort of how she's learned, but she is an untalented liar. And attorneys are not by profession, honest. I have seen her in action representing the spouse of a friend of mine. She is awful to listen to in the courtroom. She has no idea what she's doing. She just talks trash and makes things up for her clients and she looks like a clown. Her voice is a nasal gravelly noise, worse than nails on a chalkboard. Do yourself a favor, and find someone else. She is unprofessional, doesn't show up on time for meetings or court dates, she's never prepared, so you'll continue to pay her more because she's asked for continuance after continuance. Dragging things out for her clients to in affect, wring wallets dry. And she'll file multiple contempts over juvenile childish things like a client's ex to be posted something on social media.She will suggest hiring private investigators, of course for more money because she can't do her job. Contempt for things like asking the child questions about how the weekend visit was. It's ugly and embarrassing. What she is good at is inciting the fury of judges because she continuously files motions for contempts that make them look petty and desperate. Judges, especially in Plymouth do not want BS coming in and out of the court or extra court date dates. Susannah Brown doesn't know how to win. She is the equivalent of a name caller and harasser, an antagonizer. This woman is good at taking people's money but can't seem to manage a decent dye job on her insane looking, crispy hair. You need an advocate during the divorce process. A counselor and a guide. Susannah will let you behave badly...she's wise in that she knows the more you fight with your soon to be ex the more she gets paid. She will prolong the process to put her desire to make money before your need to get through the difficult process of divorce. She is completely cold and unrelatable. There are better choices. She is only about the money! She canceled 3 court dates, once because she double booked and canceled my date, another time she said we needed to give my X more time to get his paperwork together, which shouldn't have been my problem and the last time my X was going to be on vacation. WTF, this was to prolong the process to gain more money in my opinion. A Good lawyer would not accept any excuses and do the job YOU are paying for. I asked her to calculate the weeks I was owed from my X and she miscalculated. I also told her, and she agreed, that he should be responsible for all legal & court fees. Next thing I know guess who has a bill, you got that right. She stated he paid her too! I would NEVER even recommend her to my worst enemy! I would NEVER recommend Susannah Brown or anyone in her office for legal services. She charges an arm and a leg and does NOTHING. She does not care about her clients and is impossible to reach by phone and email. If you want to speak to her, be prepared to contact her several times in order to get a response. Unless she wants to get paid, you will not get a call from her. She is rude and condescending. She acted as if I was an idiot if I had questions and would give me one word answers. I am not a lawyer and do not understand legal terms- that is why I paid her a fortune, only for her to make me feel stupid anytime I asked a question. She never initiated communication with me to let me know what was going on with my case. Anytime she would reach out or respond, it was on a Friday afternoon so I would have to worry all weekend and not be able to reach her or ask questions. She did not help me with my case at all and instead I spent over $15,000 fighting a case that should have been won and ended within a few weeks. The entire case took almost a year!!!
