After years of battling uneven drawn on brows, spending way too much on makeup, and wasting precious time every morning trying to get them to match (and not look wild), I knew I needed something more permanent. I started looking into microblading, but like many people, I had mixed feelings. Would it look natural? Was it worth the price? Would I regret it? So I did what any curious Millennial does, I went down the Instagram rabbit hole. That's when I found Sidney Le and started following her team and their different artists. I watched for months, studied the styles, and finally decided to pull the trigger. From the moment I reached out, the team was helpful, clear, and direct, which I immensely appreciate. I won't lie, the price did give me a little sticker shock at first. But then I remembered: this is a tattoo... on your face. And when you factor in: 1. The quality and expertise of the artists 2. The high-end products they use and how long it lasts 3. The time, money, and daily frustration it saves you PLUS the fact that it won't smudge or wash off in water... It was a no-brainer. My first appointment went great. The artist really took time to assess my face and skin type, and we decided on the Ombre Brow technique. I've never looked back! Now I go in every 2 to 2.5 years for a refresh and see Sara, who I absolutely adore. She's patient, detailed, and always makes sure I'm happy with the shape and color before we start. Now, let's talk pain. Yes, it's a tattoo on your face, so no, it's not completely painless. The outline and initial scratching definitely sting. But after that, numbing cream is applied and it's honestly not bad. It is more pressure than pain. I've even fallen asleep during the process because Sara's setup is so calming: soft music, cozy blanket, and one of the comfiest tables I've ever laid on. If you're on the fence, let this be your sign to go for it. Microblading (or ombre brows, in my case) has saved me so much time and given me such a boost in confidence. Just remember: there is a healing process. Your brows will look dark, they'll itch, and they'll peel..... but trust the process!! Once they heal, you'll be obsessed. Honestly? Best beauty decision I've ever made. Worth every single penny.

Many of my messages have gone unanswered (read receipts to prove that), making it challenging to secure an appointment within the recommended timeframe. I ended up getting my eyebrows done by Shelby in late 2018, and while I am writing this review retroactively, the current state of my eyebrows definitely do speak for themselves. Fading is expected with micro blading, and while it has been over 4 years since I had it done, the initial structure that Shelby had formed has stayed strong. As I no longer live in the Davis / Sacramento area, I have thought of getting touched up by other folks over the years, but I feel that I may not be able to get the same care and attention (and confidence!) as I did from her work. I plan on making my way up to the Sacramento area soon to get a touch up on the brows and getting my lips blushed - and I trust no one other than Shelby to do a fab job on it! Everyone was so nice and happy and it made me feel like the team genuinely wanted me to be there and have the best possible experience. Sheena and her team asked questions and made sure I felt comfortable as they were removing stretch marks in areas that were a bit more private. I have only had one session so far but I already can't wait to go back to finish the process. Minimal pain and I'm already healing super quickly. They even give you lotion to take home so your healing process is painless and quick. I truly can't say enough good things about Sheena and her team and highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to get those unwanted stretch marks "camouflaged."

I have been coming to her for my camoflauge treatments/sessions and every session is so fun and relaxing. The results I saw in just 2-3 sessions has helped boost my confidence immensely. She is offering truly one of a kind service in the Sacramento region and I suggest you take advantage of her amazing skills and talent! She deserves more exposure because her work has truly changed how I see myself. She uses great hygiene practices, offers post care instructions, and is knowledgable in her art. Definitely recommend her!!
