    First time stopping in this new BIG Tom Thumb that just opened this month (July 2021). With more…read morethan 7,600 square feet, twice the size of a typical location, they have 10 gas pump stations across five islands, 31 parking spots and the convenience of curbside pick-up/order ahead capabilities available with the SmartPay Rewards App. There's also a sharp looking AutoSpa Car Wash with vacuums. This new store features the company's latest design, equipment and menu with expanded food choices. In addition to the Tom Thumb convenience store, the location also features a Burger King and Pizza Hut onsite, offering services until nearly midnight. The parent company's history: Founded in 2001 by the Issa Family, United Kingdom-based EG Group is a major convenience retailer who has established partnerships with global brands. EG Group currently employs in excess of 44,000 colleagues working in more than 6,000 sites across Europe, USA and Australia. I thought I misunderstood him so I just gave him my ID and he says I need hers too. I said she doesn't have one, she's my daughter and he said he couldn't sell it to me because we came in together. I asked if this was a Alabama thing and he said he didn't know, he was just told that when he started working there. What am I missing here? Was I supposed to leave my daughter in scolding heat outside in a car risking someone to kidnap her. We went there mainly for the milk, i figured I'd get the beer after going inside since my birthday was coming up in a few days, its just the principle behind it that pisses me off, I actually felt insulted.
