We had him fix two small holes (2 inch diameter) in our wall that occurred during our move. Jonathan was easy to communicate with and came over to give us an estimate. Since we were not paying for it, I wasn't too concerned on the price. That being said, his estimate to repair those two holes and paint was over $600. We ended up going with him out of convenience, but another quote, just to compare, was $250. The work he did is just OK. Scheduling him was another issue. He wanted us to be flexible with him on when he could come do the job, which he defined as small. When I pushed back and told him I am happy to go with someone else, he miraculously had time to do it early the following week. Amazing how that works. We also had him quote us to paint rooms in our home. He quoted around $600, which was a non-starter. We ended up going with someone that could do it for almost half the price, who we know does quality work from neighbor testimonials. All in all, he's a nice guy. But, for the cost of his work, I would encourage you to look elsewhere.

I chose Carl based on coworker recommendations and couldn't be happier with the outcome…read more Carl came out, quoted each room and the total verbally and on paper, and made it really easy for us to add/subtract rooms based on our budget (we have vaulted ceilings that we just couldn't do ourselves but to save some money we're doing the upstairs rooms ourselves). We had a tight two week move-in schedule and Carl whipped out his mobile calendar and found a few days the following week to get us in. The crew (one of whom was his son) was very professional, clear, clean, and diligent. Absolutely no drips or smudge marks and very clean lines between our gray walls and white ceilings. At the end of each day they tidied up their things into one spot. They skipped a day due to weather and still got done ahead of schedule. At the end, Carl came by to check in and both he and his son offered us some tips and techniques on painting the upstairs ourselves which saved us time and money on materials. We paid the remaining balance at this point. High quality, decent prices - would recommend to anyone needing an interior paint job!

If it wasn't for the original issues or if it was solely based on my experience with the owners and KR, I would have left 5 stars. After all was said and done, I am happy with the job that they did. *Original Review* Everything started out great - KR was on time for the appointment for a quote and was very responsive when it came to questions about their services and about pricing. What did not go well was the actual job. When it came to protecting the home and floors from over spray. Paint on the wood floors, paint on the gas fireplace, paint in the grout of the tile, paint on the shower glass, paint on door hinges and plates. They even lost some of the hinges and just hung the doors up without them. They attempted to come to the house and correct some of the issues and literally made it worse by getting espresso paint on our new carpet - we had to have the carpet in that area replaced. They also were supposed to fix a crack in the ceiling and the caulk they put in there lasted for about a week.
