My daughter attended this waste of space and it's so upsetting to see them failing our children so horribly. I have now transferred my child to a much better school. I am not one to complain but i wanted to put a remark, so other Parents are aware. I called the school Board several times but left messages with no returned calls.
This school is disgusting, the teachers are tired of admin not knowing what they're doing and not backing them, they all seem to hate their jobs. As soon as a child even Sneezes funny they send them home. They do not work with these children or teach them they expect them to be adults and do THEIR jobs. They do not interact with the children its nothing like what you would want a school to be, it's more like a non-structured concentration camp. My daughter was physically assaulted on their campus and their response was to suspend "all the children for the last 5 days of school!" My daughter wrote bully statement--after bully statement--after bully statement for MONTHS if not almost the entire year! I went into the school for multiple parent teacher conferences to get things resolved. It's disgusting how they speak in front of children; my daughter told me when she wrote a witness statement the principle was rolling his eyes while I was on the phone. I am one of the nicest people anyone could probably ever encounter --but I won't entertain or respect any low life miserable individuals who take their invalid emotions out on CHILDREN especially in logical situations playing rolls such as theirs in a Childs life --ESPECIALLY when it comes to my daughter's future just because they are in administration. The whole office needs to be drug tested for sure! This school has DESTROYED my daughter's middle school experience by allowing bullying and for lacking in every aspect possible when it came to her education. She is so insecure now and feels like she's always in trouble for making any small mistake. The front office administration told me MANY TIMES my daughter was up to date with everything on her schoolwork --- her teachers said otherwise!!! This happened all year. Any time I wanted an update they would say everything's turned in, she had unexcused tardies-the administration said it was "teachers' error and changed it!" SEVERAL times!! I reached out to the teachers directly for a better answer and they advised administration was lying that those were times my daughter was tardy!! How can I even ensure my child is getting a valid education when I can't even ensure her safety while under their responsibility!!
The school is physically dirty, rooms smell let Wet carpet, the A/C literally was out once a week the entire year---sometimes for DAYS!! these kids had NO A/C!! The teachers are constantly making jokes about how they hate being teachers and they really show it in their work ethic. The administration is a COMPLETE JOKE they provide such a completely unstructured learning environment. there's CHILDREN getting exposed for sending NUDES almost weekly, having sex, smoking weed ALL AT SCHOOL!!!!! Fights almost every single day!! WHERE ARE THE ADULTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!?! these kids all post about it on a BROOKSIDE INSTAGRAM PAGE. --- Look up the pages on IG there are SEVERAL!!! "BSmiddle" or "brookside"-- they post things they do in the hallways, smoking at school! Making fun of teachers and admin!! They post about other kids, making fun of them or "exposing them" -bullying them!! the administration is aware and has been aware as well!! -THEY DO NOTHING! IM TELLING YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART---- THIS SCHOOL IS TRASH DO NOT SEND YOU CHILD/REN HERE!!!!
Brookside Where the Children are smarter than the adults------WHOS EVEN TEACHING THE CHILDREN!!!!!
These teachers are SCREAMING at kids, throwing desks!!!, throwing books!!!--THATS BEHAVIOR OF OUR PAID TEACHERS!!!! WHAT ARE WE TEACHING THESE POOR CHILDREN?!?!?!?! - nothing!!!!! Absolutely disgusting behaviors from individuals, we expect our children to be able to look up to. Heartbreaking!!! Protect your children and pick a different school!! read more
