I suspect that my daughter will be so advanced in her learning that adjusting to 1st grade will be a breeze.

When we walk in the door every morning, the positive energy is just exploding and the welcome from each and every employee is the best way to start our day. My son loves the teachers and thoroughly enjoys this facility. We toured several daycares when we were pregnant and found only two that we would even consider sending our child. I love that there are no screens for the kids, they have dedicated outdoor time everyday when the weather is nice, and there are cameras in the rooms for parents to peak in on their kids during the day. I never feel like we need the camera to make sure he's being treated correctly, but being able to see him playing and interacting with the other kids brings a lot of joy. The teachers send a daily report and there are nearly always photos. I'm so thankful we found such a wonderful place to provide childcare.

His lead and assistant teachers were consistent throughout the year (no constant turnover and drama like we experienced at his previous center). The classrooms were spacious and well-equipped, and also serves as an instructional center for IUPUI students studying early education. We especially liked the STEM program as the class progressed through multi-week thematic units based on the children's current interests (e.g. simple machines, dinosaurs, castles, camping). Students use a blend of technology and tactile materials and toys, and our son was even able to read and comprehend short stories before leaving for kindergarten. There are a number of ways for parents to get involved as the classrooms go on numerous field trips and the center hosts family events and open houses. Class updates and pictures are provided via the Tadpoles app throughout the week. Parent conferences are held twice a year. The center is professionally managed by IUPUI and a friendly, new, hands-on director was just hired in spring of 2019. We would recommend the center to anyone working, studying, or living in the downtown area.

The athletic director stole 40k for sports betting, the previous superintendent was fired and replaced with... the dean!? And a long year after, with no attempts at actually finding a man or woman smart enough to hold the position. Do NOT send your kids here, and if you are a decent person please, do not risk working here either. If you aren't rich, you aren't popular here. There is no true authority here. many male teachers get too comfortable with the female students and to stupid with the boys. Almost all the decent people have left. I've heard that the principal doesn't show up half of the time... especially when she's needed during lunch detentions. The Bible teachers here are not good, minus one. One thinks he is "cool" but treats people very poorly simply because he does not like them. The other has a loud mouth, a short step, and is stuck up as he often tries to make himself look good around the students. Don't risk even driving onto the school property unless you're there to save the three or four honest and respectful teachers. Does this sound like a God-fearing, faith based safe space for your children?? Do Christian's go around flaunting their bodies, objectifying their girlfriends, or bullying others to the extreme? I am extremely disappointed and my heart has a heavy burden for those who have and are being negatively affected by this school. I highly do not recommend ever going here, ever.
