A couple of weeks later they billed me a few hundred dollars for the device. Eventually it was cleared up but I saw dishonesty. On 7/15/2025 I went there for a routine checkup with Dr. Kabalkin and they first conducted the 5 minute EKG. He handed me the printout and said I could tape it to my refrigerator. When I asked about the previous diagnostic report. he told me he didn't write the report because he was on vacation and a different doctor wrote it and it's all manufactured lies. For this routine checkup with Dr. Kabalkin on July 15,2025 my insurance was billed $1,337. Why put a person through paying co-pays, billing his insurance at very high rates, making him patiently cooperate with monitoring devices and all kinds of testing if the diagnostic report is all "manufactured lies"? This is the highest form of dishonesty and corruption.

I've been calling them for 3 days to request the results (which SHOULD have been sent to us automatically since we are the referring physician). Yesterday I finally spoke with someone, she told me "I already faxed those results" - clearly, we did not get them - that is why I am calling. She said she would fax them again, never received. I called again today, spoke to the same woman (who would not give her name), this time she tells me that the patient is not in their system then HANGS UP ON ME. Now the patient is on her way here for a procedure that she needs to have pending these blood results. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service.

They all reassured me in the kindest way that it was nothing to be afraid of. The technician who inserted the IV was awesome -- it was very quick and I hardly felt anything. Plus, he joked around with us. My nephew was holding my hand, and the man said, "So long as you don't hit him," or something to that effect. The nurse was lovely, and both she and the technician explained everything as it was going on. It was a positive experience and helped me to have faith and confidence in medical personnel. It means everything to an anxious patient when the staff are kind. I hope that these people keep up their good work. Oh, and the building is new, nicely kept, and pleasant to look at, both inside and outside.

As I made my way from Forest Hills in Queens, I dabbled in thinking that I'm traveling too far for a procedure I can have administered closer to home. I care not to sit in traffic, I've no pressing desire to park in foreign neighborhoods and definitely not any interest to take the two trains necessary, its the quality of the care I'm interested in. My body has taken some lumps along my life's journey, some self inflicted, some hereditary. Either way, it was time to get down to brass tracts and quell my concerns about a few issues, primarily my heart. My cardiologist, Dr. Kuznetsov administered my stress test watching closely for any indications to properly assess my health as it relates to the procedure. The entire staff was incredibility helpful and sincere with their care. I had my own locker to store my personal items, a nice touch.

The "nurse" is at the front desk and in the back doing blood work taking vitals. For almost 30 minutes, no one is at the front desk. My I.D & insurance card and other people personal medical records are all just on the desk with people leaning on the counter and obviously reading it. Kids are running behind the desk playing around. I tell the office manager and she says to me, today we are understaffed. I said ok, no problem. First, don't make an appointment because it's pointless, they will see you when they feel like it. I'm in the back getting my blood drawn and people are just walking in dropping off paperwork as if nothing is happening. I had to tell the "nurse" can we please have some privacy by locking the door. I finally see the doctor (Dr.Yana) rude as fuck. Did not speak or smile not once. Didn't even let me finish telling her all the reasons I was there, she rushed me out and said follow me. I'm still giving another chance by coming back, I come back for my results. "Dr" Yana leaves the door open to give me my results from my blood work. I asked her can we close the door and she says, you can close it. While I'm in the waiting room, another patient is cursing her out because she was so rude to him and extremely unprofessional. I had to see a specialist that they brought in. The specialist is telling me one thing, the office "manager" is telling me another thing. That's when I said I was done. The people at the front desk are rude as fuck, when you call asking questions they will actually yell at u and use phrases like "first of all" You never "first of all" a client. I finally was able to get all my blood results for another doctor to review and actually explain everything to me. Thank God I was healthy. All of this happened is September. I said I will wait till I get all my results before leaving a review. I have been trying to get my results from the neurologist for weeks now and they are refusing to give me what I need. Being rude and very unhelpful. Today 11/07 the office "manager" actually used the same phrase "first of all" and it all made sense why the rest of the staff is so rude. I decided I will ask my new professional kind friendly doctor to run another test with a new neurologist because I can't with these people. I wish I knew some medical board or agency to report them...They are horrible. It's actually sad for the people who feel like they do t have a choice.

I could see them in a back office eating from big trays of takeout food. I was trying to work out an issue with my health insurance, had the insurer on the phone, signaled as much and was told "We're ON our BREAK. It'll be five minutes." Ten minutes later... When I finally got to see Dr. Daynedo (I wasn't sure who my appointment was even with), she asked me a bunch of questions I'd already answered on the intake form, complained about her sprained ankle, took five minutes to individually check off boxes for blood tests, and repeatedly warned me that I shouldn't smoke while taking birth control pills (I've never smoked in my life). She asked zero questions about my health, habits or concerns. My "physical" amounted to a desultory breast exam. She gave me zero guidance about birth control options. I ended up suggesting my own birth control pill prescription. I was then sent for an EKG (? Not usually part of a physical but okay... I insisted they check that it was covered by my insurance because it felt like test-loading). The sweet young nursing assistants weren't sure how to operate the equipment, which kept falling off. They ran the test three times and then I had to wait some more for the doctor to tell me, in broken heavily accented English, what I already know about my heart. There were no paper towels in the rest room. The walls had stains. I would put the facility and care quality at just slightly better than what I experienced in Ghana in 2003. THEN a week later I got a call at 5 pm on the Friday of a holiday weekend-- my test results were "abnormal" and the doctor wanted to see me. Oh HELL no. But talking to someone who can actually help me is proving all but impossible. So now I'm weighing whether I just wait until January to see a new provider and forget the test results and this whole experience. Never again. Nobody in the United States should be subjected to care this poor.
