Kiley & Foley makes the process comfortable and as easy as can be on Family, Friends and anyone who finds themselves involved in caring for a lost friend or loved one. Highly recommend.

Nobody wants to have to work with a funeral home. It usually means you've just lost someone, often…read morea family member or other loved one. You are probably emotional and unless you've done advanced planning you may have no idea what you want or even what to ask. And many people are uncomfortable dealing with or talking about death. Recently, on the evening after Thanksgiving, I got the dreaded phone call that my beloved sister had just died and that I needed to get to Brewer right away. I was over an hour away and by the time I arrived I was feeling devastated, upset, and lost. But shortly after I arrived Bob Welch from Kiley and Foley Funeral Services arrived to pick her up. He immediately put me at ease, gently explaining exactly what he was going to do and assuring me she would be treated professionally and respectfully while in their care. Once he had her ready to go he spent time with me gathering the information they would need to do the paperwork that's involved with a death. I didn't know the answer to some of his questions and before I could even worry that that would be a problem he had assured me that it was okay. We could write down what information I was missing and I could look for those answers later. Then he told me that his son Ryan Welch, who is the director of Kiley and Foley, would call me the next day to see if I'd been able to locate what was needed. That night Bob was so kind to me, asking and answering questions, giving me his condolences, and waiting patiently when I'd get overcome with emotion now and then. And then when I heard from Ryan the next day and as we spoke on the phone a few more times in the next few days as I thought of more questions he was as kind and gentle as his dad. I would recommend this business and especially these two men to anyone who finds themselves in need of this type of service. Even in the middle of a holiday weekend they made this heart wrenching time in my life as close to being easy as was humanly possible.
