I don't understand how the management thinks 15 minutes is adequate. My husband is disabled and walks and moves very slow. It can take time to get situated and hold everything. But if you feel a little behind in your core nursing knowledge, the Hurst videos provide a fun way to master the material. I did the online review because it was cheaper and I didn't think that I would retain everything sitting in a long 3 day review. Watch out for coupon codes on their website and Facebook. I like that I could take my time and watch a lecture when I was ready to fully concentrate. The videos kept my interest and really drilled concepts into my head by explaining procedures and diseases in simple terms that were easy to remember. I wish the Hurst instructors were my nursing school instructors! There are 4 practice tests (125 questions long) and a question bank to practice. The rationales were not as great as Uworld but much better than Kaplan's. Besides the core content, there are two videos that talk about how to think the NCLEX way and testing strategies. Passed in 75 questions. Was it because of Hurst? I don't know but I do know that Hurst made me more confident in my nursing knowledge and I'm keeping my book of Hurst lecture notes on hand for when I actually start working my first nursing job.
