They coordinated all the decor setup, install, and take down (most of which they provided as part of the package for the wedding). Everything looked stunning and so many people commented on how great the venue was! The only small glitch we had was some of the items needed for the bar setup were late arriving so some of the drinks didn't get as much action per se but overall it worked out. everyone had an absolute blast and it was so stress free for myself and groom! This place is all inclusive in every way and I'd highly recommend using them for your big day!

I've spent a lot of time thinking about writing this review. I don't typically write negative…read morereviews because I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt. However, after my fiancé and I had such a negative experience, I feel it's important to share our story so others can be aware before considering this venue. We booked this venue nearly a year prior to our wedding during an expo. At the expo, the staff seemed disorganized and frazzled. No one could give us clear answers, and they kept asking each other questions. At the time, they were offering a deal on decor, and since I'm a full-time ER nurse and my fiancé is a firefighter/paramedic, neither of us had the time or desire to manage decor or greenery ourselves. So, we decided to go ahead with the venue and paid our deposit. After that, we never heard from anyone again--no follow-up or communication whatsoever. Several months later, my fiancé and I had some financial changes and decided to elope instead of having a big wedding. This was still eight months before the wedding date. We immediately reached out to the owner, who explained that while the deposit was non-refundable, she would refund it if the date was rebooked by the end of January. Since the date was the first Saturday in June, we had no doubt it would be booked by then. On February 2, my fiancé followed up, only to be told that the date had been booked, but the deposit could not be refunded. We feel this was unreasonable, given the ample notice we had provided and the fact that June is a prime wedding date. She strung us along for weeks, and then two days after the deadline, her tone completely changed. She became rude in emails and refused to compromise or work with us. We had mentioned multiple times that if we weren't getting our deposit back, we would need to reconsider our situation and keep our original date. But instead, she rebooked the date, took the new deposit, and informed us that our date was no longer available, meaning we would not receive any refund. My fiancé, being the kind-hearted person he is, tried to reason with her, explaining how upset and ripped off we felt. Her response was to send long, argumentative emails claiming she was in the right. The entire situation was handled very poorly and unprofessionally. In hindsight, I should have read the reviews on Google before booking. This entire experience has been incredibly stressful, especially during an emotional time when we wanted to celebrate our love the way we had hoped. All of our other vendors were understanding and happily refunded our deposits, wishing us the best. Unfortunately, the owner of The Fifth Floor did not demonstrate the same professionalism or tact. I hope this review helps others avoid the same frustration we went through.

I found Becky through an AI search while looking for a local photographer for our anniversary…read morephotos. She was fantastic. I'm usually very uncomfortable in front of the camera, but she was professional, friendly, and immediately made us feel comfortable. I was initially hesitant about her suggestion to do a "lifestyle" session in our home, thinking it might not be "camera-ready," but I'm so glad we listened to her. Becky has an incredible eye for angles and spots we usually overlook. She even snuck a few great photos of our cat during the session, which was a wonderful, personable touch. Even with limited natural light in some rooms, the lighting in every shot turned out excellent. She delivered a high-quality gallery in about 2.5 weeks. If you want a relaxed, professional experience in the Salt Lake area, I highly recommend Becky Green. We'd definitely choose her again!

Since then we've had her come back multiple times to document our growing family and recommend her to everyone we know! You can literally find her photos throughout every room in our house. Becky has an easy going, relaxed manner that makes it easy to be yourself and for her to capture candid moments on camera. She loves working with toddlers and is so understanding when we've needed to pause for a quick nursing session for the newborn. She has been very kind and flexible when we needed to change dates to illness and/or timing of newborns births. We love love working with Becky and are so thankful to have found her! We will treasure these pictures forever.

I love all the photos she has taken of my kiddos (and our family)!! She has an natural "eye" for details, composition and capturing that "something special" that are beyond important to this mother! Laura actually comes on location (home, outdoors, wherever) to take the photos, which is super convenient, especially when you have a busy kids. Laura is also a patient and loving mom. We all know it is hard to get kids to sit still and smile on cue, so Laura is happy to wait for that perfect shot and act silly in the meantime (in order to get my kids to smile). My son is on the spectrum - she didn't blink an eye when he had trouble following directions -- she just kept the energy and flow -- kids happy and entertain -- she was flawless :) I was grateful for that!! Her prices are AMAZING -- I spent less and got more PHOTOS than I EVER did from the so called "picture factory" or cookie cutter images! Plus, my kids didn't even catch a cold -- which always happened when we went to a "chain-photo" place --- Ugh! I couldn't be happier w. I shot with Casey Grimley in June 2018 at Joshua Tree, CA for his "Dancing with the Stars" series…read more Casey is a nice guy. He has a true love for photography and capturing the Milky Way, albeit I feel his inexperience with aerialists may be his Achilles heel. Maybe a lot of the things we noticed he just never gave thought to, and I hope these notes can help. I shot with two other pole girlfriends and Casey gave us a lot of time which was appreciated; from 7pm to 2am we were working really hard. While we were stretching in our outfits with hair/makeup, Casey says - "By the way, I don't do any topless or implied nude/topless type shots." None of us were wearing anything different than what lots of us wear to class or performances, and we plan for our looks weeks in advance of a shoot. I wish he noted that prior to being AT the location since I can think of well-known pole dancers who do gorgeous shots nude or implied nude who should be aware of this restriction. If a photographer decides to move from shooting inanimate landscapes to pole dancers, the judgement needs to tone done a bit. We had several poses shot from below/under the chin/under the thighs. It's universally known to be unflattering, and shots we spent a lot of time with throwing fabrics, using wind, were not usable because of the poor choice of angle. I have been part of a lot of photo shoots, pole and otherwise. Every photographer I have worked with moves around, lays on the ground, runs around you on spin pole - anything to get the shot. Casey was stationary, seated on a chair in the exact same spot. You would hear only one *click* after 3-4 rotations when normally in other pole shoots I would have heard/seen 15-20 clicks of the camera and lights. This was frustrating for all three of us because he would not get a shot, and make us climb up there and redo some amazing combo over and over and over, seemingly having no empathy or understanding of how damn difficult and exhausting it is to do. We would be vocal in how we only had the strength for one more of a particular pose or trick, and for him to get ready - then we would hear only one click. Meanwhile, the X-Pole Stage he brought was janky and uneven, and would lose its spin. Adding the desert cold after sunset that comes over you and the pole - it made for an extremely frustrating, somewhat unsafe, and physically difficult shoot. We finish at 1:15AM-ish, fatigued, freezing, and in the pitch black in the middle of the desert in our "slutty" pole outfits. We climb into the car to bundle up, blast the heater, eat a banana, drink water. We didn't realize until that moment that we were trapped because we HAD to follow Casey out of the desert through winding paths in pitch black of night with no Google Maps reception from his chosen location. This is my favorite part: we paid ~$1,000 for this shoot to be Casey's roadies. Last time I checked, the paying client is not your manual labor. We took apart the X-stage, alllll his lights set up, cranes, and his chairs. We loaded his SUV. We lifted sandbags and light poles taller than ourselves. We stood on his backseat to load the top rack of his SUV. At 2AM after already doing so much physically demanding work, while he sat in his chair in a warm jacket. I asked him "Hey Casey, what do you do when you shoot at home in Utah, do you have a team of at least 2 strong men to do your breakdown?" I was ignored. Honey, my voice ain't quiet. He heard me. Post-shoot, we are describing these frustrations to our class and friends, and one who does photography explained that maybe Casey didn't move from his chair because he had to take each photo from a stationary position to fit into his "template" photo of the Milky Way behind us. In essence, photoshopping us and the pole INTO his first photo of the night sky. Therefore, he has negated the need for himself, for being outside in general, when we could have done this all in a studio or green screen. Yes, poling in nature under the stars is beautiful, but what is the point then of the concept "Dancing with the Stars" if he just superimposes us into a photo? Might as well superimpose me on the pole at The Pyramids. Or in the Amazonian rainforest. We could have saved $1,000 and had one of our professional digital designer friends photoshop us into a landscape. At this price tag, the concept of this type of photo shoot is utterly pointless. You are in essence paying for his family's hotel and travel costs, because he certainly isn't paying assistants or people to do his breakdown. He definitely didn't buy a functioning X-Stage. And as he admitted in his email a few weeks ago, he didn't even pay the photography permit fee! I will never put myself through this terrible experience again, and I would not recommend the "Dancing with the Stars" shoot to anyone.
