The trout pate was really moreish and went perfectly with the glass of French rose I started with. For mains, we had the gnocchi and the King George whiting. Oh my god. I honestly feel sorry for anyone that hasn't tasted this food!!! Their signature cocktail the 'Martini Noir' just took my breathe away. Do yourself a favour and book a table...

Staff were very friendly and attentive - but most of all Raffael, who treated us like royalty. We had a stunning meal, vegan lasagne, vegetable bowl, warm octopus on sweet potato and Genovase pizza. The food was tasty and very appealing aesthetically! After lunch long time partners completely surprised us and Len proposed to Veronica. A staff member looked over at us and I said "we have an engagement"! Within a moment, Raffael had brought over champagne and glasses. He left us and returned with a bunch of flowers from the garden, held together with a white ribbon for the bride to be. It couldn't have been more perfect. My dear friend Veronica was diagnosed with cancer less than a month ago and starts the recovery of her life tomorrow. I do not even know how to thank Raffael and staff for this genuine kindness. He made our day. And so we left Doppiozero with hugs all round. Do yourself a favour and visit this place. I hope you find it as wonderful as we did

Boasting a rather impressive menu, both in its extensiveness and sheer globe-trotting variety,…read moreXpress Gourmet Pizza is a delightful little gem nestled along the Dromana foreshore. The quality of the pizzas is utterly superb, boasting strikingly fresh ingredients and vibrant colours to match, and the taste is, in my experience, almost always of a similar calibre. Size-wise, they offer three options ranging from small pizzas for one or two to family pizzas that shouldn't leave anybody hungry, and each is priced rather reasonably, at least by my measure. Xpress offers pick-up and delivery options as well as the ability to dine-in, and whilst the dine-in experience can be somewhat cramped if the weather renders the outside area unusable, they also boast a small bar and a fair range of alcohol (though their licensing means that it must all be consumed on-site). Perfect for a quiet night in or a casual meal with a partner or friends.
