Unfortunately, I had the worst haircut of my life at Frisor Klier, located in the same building…read moreEdeka in Bonlanden is.
I have cut my own hair for years, and have even received compliments from hair stylists. A challenge is to ensure the hair in the back is cut even. After I had cut my hair (see the first photo, which I shared on FB the evening before), I decided to go to a beautician to check the back.
When I entered Frisor Klier to ask if someone could make certain the hair in the back of my head was even, the women who attended me responded in a very unfriendly way, criticizing me for cutting my own hair. She said she needed to cut all of my hair, but I told her I did not want that...just the back. I didn't think this woman was going to be the one to cut my hair, as she gave instructions to another hairstylist on what to do. Had I thought it was going to be her, I would have left the shop based upon the negative way this woman spoke to me. But suddenly, she picked up a scissors and started cutting. And then she took a razor.
When she showed me what she had done, my heart dropped. Shocked, I asked her why she had cut it so short? I told her it looked horrible, as one can see from the photo. Not surprisingly, she resorted to name calling, calling me an asshole.
Later, I went back to the store to get the name of the manager so I could file a complaint. This same woman who cut my hair said she was the manager. As such, I went to the information desk at Edeka to find out where I could file a complaint. The Edeka staff told me they had received a lot of complaints about this woman.
What is interesting is that this woman said my hair was uneven. If you look at the photo of the back of my head just after she had cut it, you can see the work she did was uneven. Even if my hair was uneven, is what she did better than what I had done? Was what she had done the solution one would expect of a professional?
It is my belief that the woman cut my hair as short as she did out of spite because I did not agree to her cutting my entire hair, but also because of meanness.
If there are a lot of complaints regarding an employee, why is it the company keeps the employee on? Should others suffer as a result?
I hope this review helps others from having such a negative experience and haircut.
