A local frame shop run by the owner and her son. The owner herself knows a lot about framing and…read moreclearly guides the overall direction of the shop, but her son is the one that has really been impressive to me. I brought in many beloved sports memorabilia collections and he has framed every single one impeccably. He framed a Victor Cruz jersey, Super Bowl XXV card collection, two Super Bowl XLVI collections, and is currently working on a 2009 World Series collection for me. His prices are reasonable and he treats you like a good friend. I lived in Paducah for about a year and even after moving away to Nashville and now Houston, I still continue to use him for all my custom professional framing. Go visit Doug if you ever need a work of art from the frame game.

But today, I felt an employee was lurking, watching me look through the racks and I was uncomfortable. A piece of clothing had fallen to the floor near me, that I don't think I dislodged. The employee came right up near me, and hung it back up. I apologized despite not being sure I had done it. They said nothing back me, just gave me a dirty look. At that point I put back the shirt I was planning to pay cash for, and walked away. I glanced over my shoulder and they had already snatched up the shirt and moved it back to what I guess was a better spot. I just smiled as the person glared. Needless to say I won't be back for a loooong time if ever. Who treats their repeat cash paying customers this way? Three stars is generous, it's for the merchandise selection only.

He says he has never experienced such service. In the time we were there, several employees interacted with him in addition to the one who he was working with. We set a date to pick up the altered clothes in about a week, but after lunch and a one hour ride home, we got a text that his clothes were ready. It is unique that the fitting is done by the seamstress who works on the clothes right there in the shop. It was a little bit easy to loose track of how much we were buying, but when we got the final total, we were pleased with what we had paid. If am fully prepared for my husband to make other purchases when we pick up his clothes! We highly recommend Davis Clothing and their knowledgeable staff.
