From my pre surgery appointment to my post colonoscopy, it went as "smooth" as one could expect. Dr Paul Nguyen perfectly articulated what to anticipate the day of. When I arrived at the surgery center for the procedure, I did not have to wait in the sitting room. They promptly brought me into the prep room where I was introduced to my nurse and anesthesiologist Dr Wong or (Dr Fong)? Nurse Julian got me dialed into my gurney and Dr. Wong careful administered my IV. I then was rolled into the surgical room where my favorite tunes were playing and I was greeted by Dr. Nguyen. Next thing I know, I was being rolled out of the room, waiting for my pick up and waving goodbye to the friendliest team of Drs. and nurses. If there is one more point worth mentioning...I never once was anxious or fearful. The staff was so well trained and organized. Because of their timely bedside care, I never had a chance to think too much about what was about to happen. If you are due for a colonoscopy and are worried about the experience, I would highly recommend scheduling your appointment with Dr. Nguyen. He and his staff are a class act.
