This branch of The British Heart Foundation is a fairly decent sized charity shop.
On the odd occasion I'm in here, it seems to have a continuing supply of high street brands, which is great if you're looking for a top at knock off prices. There were a lot of New Look dresses in here last time I visited, and loads of smart shirts for guys.
They had a pretty decent selection of books and everything was meticulously organised. Their clothes were all clean, neatly pressed and well presented. Their ornaments were all tidied on the shelves lovingly.
It's pleasant when you enter a charity shop and you can see the effort the volunteers put in to mimic the environment of a high street store. Although I love a good bargain hunt it's nice when you don't have to toss everything aside with gusto to access the sales racks, and this store is orderly enough that you would find a high street bargain effortlessly. Great to have aorund for locals who can't always be bothered trekking up to the city in order to get a new top. read more
