Now Poundland is currently stocking a selection of character Easter Eggs, retailing at £1 each or £3 for four, with a variety of characters to choose from, be it The Simpsons, High School Musical or Peppa Pig, if they get a Glee one I am totally there! There are plenty of other branded home items to be had in here too, from body lotions and toothpaste, face wash, shampoo and conditioners, handwash, soap, baby food, baby juice, cold and flu remedies, seriously Beechams All in One £1, Boots, £4, Bargain! Pop, crisps, chocolate, stationary, colouring books, random car stuff and garden things that I need nor understand, but it's there.

Essentially,…read moreArt Room 4 consists of the work of two artists, Carol Cheyne and Ryan Larkin, and this work takes the form of canvas art in a variety of sizes and prices, with the acrylic on canvas style of abstract, landscapes, and tonal object-non-specific pieces. The pieces start off at a very reasonable £50 and go to a maximum of £200. There are some cracking pieces on display, and if you see something in one size on display, it doesn't matter, it can be made larger, smaller, size permitting into a double set or trio piece, depending on the design and your budget. Personally I think they're excellent prices, as I've paid almost £50 for a simple icon print on canvas before now. For me it was Carol's Moody Blue piece that sucked me in, it's stunning. If you want to put something in the way of art on your walls that doesn't include prints in a frame, or one of Ikea's roses, then seriously check out Art Room 4.

I'd describe it as a gadget shop full of…read moreall sorts of stuff you tend to find in these gadgety type shops like the hamster in a ball which knocks into your feet if you aren't careful and the random helicopter toys flying around near your head. This shop is quite big and full of all sorts of stuff, its good for stocking filler kind of pressies or if you're wanting to splash out on something cool and expensive for the kiddle winkles. The guys who work there are really nice and friendly and happy to chat to you about the different things in the shop. Although stay away from the Egyptian spherical puzzle behind the class case, it will draw you in with its wonder and sparkle until you find out its £99 for a puzzle!

My 1st impression of the shop was that it is quite small and as such I didn't really expect there to be to look at, but as soon as I walked in the door I realised I couldn't be more wrong, the shop is on 2 floors and is 1 of the biggest model/hobby shops I've ever been in and it is not a big name like model zone but the shop is bigger than any of there shops I've been in. As for what they sell there should definitely be something for every one as not only do they sell model railways but model kits, die cast cars and bikes, R.C. cars and boats etc, scalextric and even dolls houses as built or in kit form as well as plans to build them from scratch! Being interested in model railways that was the area of the shop I mainly looked at and that took up probably about 1 3rd of the upper floor so there was quite a selection although there 2nd hand section could be better but then again thats is probably down to how much stuff people sell to them and when. I went with my father and we had a good look round at everything they sell just to see what exactly they have and there website doesn't really show everything that they have so it is definitely worth paying a visit as you are bound to find something of interest even if you aren't into any of the hobbies there's a good chance you will find something interesting.
