This pharmacy is neither British or American. When I showed the Pharmacist and tech my GLOBAL insurance with my name on it, they began working on the Rx. Then when they wanted me to pay, I explained I had showed them my insurance and was prompted told, "We do not take American Insurance." I informed that this was Global Insurance and not accepted in the U.S. The inappropriate looks they gave me truly wanted me to remind them there about a 1000 pharmacies in Paris. And when I showed them that their location was listed as a provider Pharmacy, they told me that was, "2 owners ago." If you have global insurance and the British Pharmacy at 1 rue Auber is listed as a provider, check with them first as evidently they do not notify the insurance companies when they change ownership. But I have also contacted the insurance company to have them removed from their provider list, based upon the information given to my the Pharmacist and Pharm. Tech. They also tried to tell me that my insurance policy would be were i pay and get re-imbursed. I explained that I purchased the plan and specifically selected a plan where doctors, hospitals, pharmacies bill the insurance company, to me (and I don't have to waste my time completing insurance claim forms). NOT knowledgeable about insurance and they made gross errors in judgment by trying to tell me about the policy I had. Again, hundreds of pharmacies in Paris, I would advise against this one. read more
