We used Brit for our engagement photos, which turned out fantastic, and we just used her for our wedding. We cannot give enough kudos to Brit. She is so talented. She has a creative eye that captures the most precious of moments. Not only is she talented, but she is great to work with. I highly recommend Brit to anyone needing to get photos done. You will not be disappointed. She is worth every penny because she will capture every moment you will want to remember for years to come. Thank you so much Brit!!!!! read more

Brit Jaye Photography - Colin and Jessika Thomas wedding 4/28/18. Love Brit's work!!! - Session Photography Near Me

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Brit is super professional, friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Her prices are super reasonable and she takes the most gorgeous pictures. We eloped from Michigan and she was wonderful in her communication. I'm sure I was a bit of a bridezilla trying to organize everything from so far away but she was always super helpful and calming. I found her on Craig's list and then went to her website. I was blown away by the quality of her pictures. She made our day absolutely amazing. I would recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful, high quality pictures of an important day. read more

I just want to start by saying Brit is Wonderful! After going through numerous portfolios of multiple photographers, Brit's style stood out as the most genuine out of all. Her passion in taking photos radiate in each picture. Brit captivates micro-moments that other photographers try to stage and fabricate. We are still amazed by all the photos Brit took for our engagement and wedding day. She just has a way of making it all feel natural. We're not usually comfortable being in front of a lens, but with Brit behind it, we felt relaxed instead of mannequins. We love Brit's work; she produces stunning photos and possess a natural talent in catching you at your most natural and elegant poise. Pictures last a lifetime, why not have your moments captured, by someone so talented, to look back on and reminisce? read more

Just had my engagement photos done by Brit this past weekend and it was an amazing experience! We will be using her for our wedding day photography as well. Brit is so sweet and easy to work with. Both my fiance and I have never had our photos taken together professionally so we were both quite nervous. Brit made us feel so comfortable and we had such a great time. I haven't gotten our photos back yet but I already know they will come out amazing! I will definitely post some once I get them back. She is so great with time frames, as I had let her know we would need the photos quickly to send out save the dates and she said it would not be a problem for her. I can tell she did research on our venue, as well as the engagement photo spots before we got there! And on top of everything else, you could tell she genuinely cares about her clients and shows interest in them and who they are as people, a couple, and what brought them together. Brit's quality, price, & customer service do not disappoint. I have done tons of research on other photographers and I chose Brit before even meeting her because of her quick responses, genuine interest, her style, and the price fit the bill! read more

I stumbled upon Brittany out of sheer luck when my fiancé and I were trying to find a quality and affordable photographer for our engagement photos. Not only was she responsive and professional, but when we got our photos taken, she made us feel really comfortable and my fiancé and I shared one of the best experiences together! (And he's your typical guy who was NOT looking forward to spending an hour getting his photo taken!) Brittany didn't put us in awkward poses and she really captured some candid shots that neither of us even realized she took until we got the proofs back. I have already received so many great compliments on our photos and they were perfect for our save the dates and our wedding website! I highly recommend Brittany and her work to anyone.. book this girl now before someone else does, she won't be under the radar for very long! :) read more

My husband and I decided to get married downtown at the courthouse with about a month's notice. I assumed I would find a "photographer" and not a Photographer. I poked around craigslist and went to Britt's portfolio. I was really entraced with her style, it felt so casual and intimate, exactly what I had envisioned. I was over the moon when she had our date available. I felt so lucky! She showed up, immediately put my Very Shy Husband at ease, and shot from a distance during the ceremony. Afterward, we shot a few pictures on the lawn and then went across the street to get some photos in front of the sea with the boats in the background. Britt is friendly and laid back, very calming, but make no mistake, this photographer is a PRO. She came up with great ideas very quickly, and none of the pictures looked staged or formal at all. She has a great eye and great technical skills. Our pictures turned around very quickly and her prices were very reasonable. I still can't believe our luck at finding her! Don't pass her up! read more

Brit shot our engagement photos and wedding over the past 7 months, and she is amazing! She makes every experience so much fun and so comfortable! I am not usually very comfortable in front of a camera, and she just makes it so easy. She is the best photographer in San Diego, hands down. It hasn't even been 3 weeks since my wedding, and I have already received the edited images! With the engagement shoot, I think it was less than a week!! You will not be disappointed if you book with Brit Jaye Photography. You just can't go wrong! read more

My husband and I had the good fortune of booking Brit for both our engagement shots as well as our wedding and words cannot express how pleased we are with both outcomes. Our engagement session captured our individual personalities and the essence of our connection and we had a great time with Brit. Neither one of us is model material but with Brits suggestions and magic lens my husband and I looked amazing (if I do say so myself)! She is super easy to get along with and her staging suggestions never left us feeling awkward or forced. At our wedding Brit was a calming and reassuring presence. She was so complimentary and made me feel like I was the most gorgeous bride with the best wedding in the whole world. She takes so much pride in her work and obviously enjoys what she does. It shows in her photographs. read more

After a few years of inherent forgiveness, I do feel the need to speak out. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We paid Brit very handsomely (almost $4000), for a terrible service. She lost our list of pictures we wanted (mom and bride, mom and groom...). We had to beg her to stay an extra 20 mins to take pics of our grandparents dancing. The album the was part of the FOUR THOUSAND DOLLAR package was at most a $50 snapfish album that was clearly printed from default with no input. The crease split the groom's face and other family members, even after a second attempt. Even more, Brit did zero research of the pre-wedding site after informed, requiring the groom to suggest photo locations, lighting, and shots in the midst of wedding day. So disappointed. Brit thinks she is a talented artist, not the case, do your work. You can't show up and be Picasso. read more

Brit was fantastic. She did our engagement, rehearsal and wedding photography. We were referred to her by a few vendors and absolutely loved working with her. She was so accommodating and really captured fabulous photos of our events. She made everyone feel comfortable and captured moments I didn't realize she was there for! Her and her team got every detail perfect. She was always so responsive and available for us - photos were returned in a great time frame and they surpassed my expectations. read more

I can't begin to express how completely thrilled we are with our wedding photos! Brittany captured every single moment of our day in exquisite beauty and creativity. The few requests I made were handled-no problem and the rest of the shots were just her own incredible inspiration. Each time I look through them, I cry all over again because I am transported back to that special day. I would highly recommend Brit Jaye Photography for any event! :) read more

My fiancee and I met with Brit earlier today and we signed the contract to have her as our photographer for our special day next year. Although our engagement shoot will not take place until next month, I just had to write this raving review about her. Brit is such a genuine and personable individual who started her business a couple years ago when she moved to San Diego. I fell in love with her photographic style and the three of us (me, her, and my fiancee) got along so well. Brit has a keen ability of making you and your sig-o feel so comfortable with her. I felt like we already knew her! She is also AFFORDABLE and provides you with edited high resolution images...that's huge. I'm also way too organized for my own good and I'm glad I didn't scare her off, lol. I can already tell she is going to be so fun and easy to work with. I can't wait to eventually see the beautiful work she will create from our wedding. read more

My husband and I recently celebrated our three year anniversary and I surprised him with a photo session to re-create some of our wedding photos and commemorate our three years together. Brit Jaye photography is awesome!! She responded to my inquiry almost immediately and was flexible with scheduling to fit our arrival to SD (we flew in from Denver). We got our pictures yesterday (very quick turn around time!) and there are definitely more that a dozen very frame-able photos....I have so many favorites! Once meeting Brit it is very obvious how much she loves what she does and we now have the awesome photographs to prove it! Her pricing is very reasonable...highly recommended! read more

Where to begin?! Britney was fantastic! She captured our wedding so beautifully. Not only is she such a talented photographer, but also such a cool person. She met with my husband and I before the wedding at the venue. She really got to know us and understand what we were wanting from our wedding. The day of the wedding she worked the entire time capturing every detail. She is so easy to talk to and truly listens to the couples she works with. She loves what she does and it shows! She was able to share with us all our wedding photos not long after the wedding, because she just couldn't wait to show us! I have received so many compliments on our GORGEOUS wedding photos. She exceeding my expectations by far. I felt so lucky that I chose the perfect photographer. There isn't one thing I would change! She's professional, friendly, and amazing at what she does! Can I rate negitive -3!!! I was so disappointed in the over all service! When I called to see if the photos were ready - I was told 'not YET.' [first time I called I don't know I was getting mixed up with another customer?] I asked when.... I was told I would get a call back - Never did. Once I received the photos they were somewhat blurry - just a few. Did I hire a professional? NOT. read more

I can't gush enough over how fantastic Brit Jaye photography is! Brit was our photographer for our engagement session and wedding day and I must say she was our #1 favorite vendor! From the moment we met her she was so warm, welcoming, friendly and sweet! I instantly felt like she was a friend, rather than a vendor and she made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She is so knowledgeable and skilled with photography which made everything so easy! She is super responsive and answered all my emails promptly and thoroughly. She is very accommodating and met with us a couple times at a coffee shop nearby our home to go over all of our questions and every single detail. We did the engagement session in Balboa Park and what we thought at first might be an awkward day (we've never taken professional photos together before) turned out to be so much fun and such a breeze! She has the best suggestions and the photos are just out of this world! Gorgeous! On the wedding day, I knew she had everything covered and she captured all of the big moments from getting ready, to the ceremony and reception, down to the littlest of details with all of the decor and the venue itself. I am truly in love with how everything turned out and this is only 2 weeks out from our wedding where she has already shared so many previews on her blog! Can't wait to get all of the final photos! I can't thank Brit enough! Highly recommend to any bride and groom looking to capture the magic of their wedding day. She and her team are incredibly professional and I can't thank her enough for all that she's done! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! read more

All I can say is Brit is awesome!! We are so happy we found her!! We got married on a Hornblower Yacht, and although they had some recommended photographers, we just didn't feel a connection with them. But when we met Brit, we could tell what a passion she had for photographing weddings and how genuinely excited she was about our own wedding. She was incredibly professional, and she even went to check out where the boats docked before hand and how the lighting would be at night. On the day of the wedding, she was prompt, and even had an assistant with her. She got right to work capturing all the little details of me, and I felt relaxed knowing she was getting everything. And most importantly, our photos were so beautiful!! I couldn't recommend Brit Jaye Photography enough! read more

Oh my gosh I love Brit! She has 5 star ratings for a reason people! She shot my 4/18/15 wedding and was amazing! She was punctual (her assistant even came early by accident and just decided to help set up! What a great guy!) and rolled with the punches. She had her ideas of what she wanted and anything I wanted to do, she didn't even hesitate! We had a family emergency at the wedding which threw everything into chaos, but nothing phased her at all. She did our engagement session too and same thing; she was funny, did all the shots I wanted to do, professional, and punctual! I seriously could go on and on! To top it all off, of course the pictures came out AMAZING! read more

Brit shot our engagement photos a couple of months ago and was the best decision I've ever made choosing her as our photographer. She was super nice and made us feel so comfortable while shooting. My fiancé does not like taking photos and that made me a little worried about how he was going to do while shooting, he later told me how comfortable he was while shooting and was happy about the shoot. When we got our photos I was so pleased with the turnout that we couldn't stop looking at them. We've gotten endless compliments on our photos, Thank you Brit!!! read more

Brit was absolutely THE BEST. We booked her for a very last minute engagement photo shoot and she not only accommodated our quick (to be honest - unreasonable) schedule, but she far surpassed all our expectations. We knew she would be good, but we had no idea she would be this good! She is a talented and professional photographer which is evident by her images, but beyond that - she is the type of person you just like to be around and she makes you feel comfortable in a really fun way. She's directive without being pushy and takes the time to make sure you are getting the shots you want. We left feeling like we had a great time, confident in the shots we got with Brit.I loved working with her and plan on referring her to many of my friends in the future! read more

I found Brit through Pinterest and can't believe I was able to get her for my engagement photos and my wedding. I am SUCH a huge fan of hers. She is an amazing artist and such a great person. She is so easy to work with, even when I was being difficult. She showed up on our wedding day ready to work and she did not disappoint. The day after our wedding she posted a sneak peak on her blog for us consisting of like 15 pictures. We were absolutely blown away! We can't wait to see the rest, we know they are going to be just as amazing. I have already been recommending her to friends and will continue to recommend her to everyone forever. read more

First and foremost, I have to say Brit is one of the most genuine, kindest, easy going person to work with! I had emailed her with a few dates and finally got lucky on a Saturday that she was available. My self and my fiancé were so excited and I had sent her a pic of my dress and my vision of what I was looking for. She nailed the location on the head! We had blast in the woods, barefoot and all! She made both of us feel at ease, it was like she wasn't event there and just went into our own world that she captured on camera. She let us be "us" and I think that is so important when choosing a photographer for your engagement shoot and wedding. Needless to say, everyone should book with Brit Jaye photography! Thank you Brit! Our shoot is a day that I will never forget! Full of laughs, jokes, and great conversation! Best! Ryan and Kelly read more

I don't know where to even begin! When we first met her she was just amazing. She knew her stuff and had lots of samples of her work to show us. She has an amazing personality and always smiling. We got an engagement session with our wedding package and it was amazing. We felt so awkward to have photos taken of us but she made us feel very comfortable and it was a breeze. She had our photos done really fast and we used them for our save the dates. she met with us before the wedding so we can go through everything we wanted to be done at the wedding. We made a timeline and a check list together. The day of the wedding she was right on it. She completed everything we asked for. She blended right in and it was not so obvious we had a photographer. I have seen weddings where they are right in your face taking pictures and she was not like that. She was very polite and if she had an idea for a shoot she would ask us if she could pull us a side for a quick picture. I honestly am so glad we picked her! She literally is awesome! and 2 months after the wedding she sent us a little surprise in the mail. More then what we expected! You also get a locked album online with a password were you can share with friends and family to see all the pictures she took, wish is incredible awesome to have to show out of state family that could not attend the wedding! She is very professional and amazing! read more

I DJed a wedding that Brit + her crew shot a few months ago. Not only were they super professional, easy to coordinate with, and on top of things during the wedding, but I just saw the gallery of wedding images and--BAM--wow! Brit has a great eye and definitely looks for "moments" to capture....not just checking off a list of "must have" shots. Her pics speak for themselves---just breath-taking! Highly recommended :-) read more

We communicated with several photographers before finding Brit. She was wonderful from the first phone interview and immediately made us feel very comfortable and excited. We looked over her blog and loved her style of photography and decided to do our engagement photos with her as well which all came back beautifully! She was very prompt and thorough in responding to the multiple emails I sent regarding how to organize our timeline, what time to start events for the best lighting etc. She is so kind, friendly and laidback and made our events so much more fun than we were expecting in regards to the photos!! We have received our wedding photos and cannot believe how gorgeous they are. We are so excited to have these beautiful memories for years to come. We will continue to use Brit's services for other photo shoots in the future! read more

I came across Brittany while planning for a last minute wedding. With 30 days to plan, I was nervous that I would get stuck a photographer who didn't know what he or she was doing. This was NOT the case with Brittany. I really cannot think of enough nice things to say about her. She was professional, friendly and so amazing to work with! She showed up early, took pictures of every little detail, and was happy to take on every request I threw her way! Not only that, she was probably the most calming and peaceful part of my wedding. She handled all of the different personalities so well and took photos that embraced who we were. Her photos were absolutley beautiful! I also got my photos back within a couple of weeks. That is unheard of with normal wedding photographers! I couldn't ask for a better wedding day photographer and cannot wait to work with her again. read more

Brit is amazing at what she does and has a true eye for photography. My husband and I could not be happier with our engagement and wedding photos! She is super easy to work with and made even me and my husband (who are not the touchy feely type in pictures) look pretty darn romantic in our wedding photos. And she captured all the little details, too! Going back through the album was like reliving the big day. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! read more

Brit Jaye Photography is amazing!! I found Brittany among many craigslist ads for wedding photography. We weren't going to even get a professional photographer, but decided to with only a few months to spare. Brittany is a warm and kind person. She gives you that aura when you meet her. She met with me and my fiance at a local coffee shop and went over all of the details. She covered everything and immediately made us feel comfortable. Brittany was open to ideas and understanding of our personal circumstances. She offered to spend time with us on the day of the wedding during prep through to the reception. I just saw the first pics of our wedding on her blog and I am BLOWN AWAY! They capture our intimate and romantic mexican wedding BEAUTIFULLY!!! Brittany is a wonderful and talented woman and you would be lucky to snag her to take your photos. She is creative and non intrusive. She caught many candid and unplanned photos that capture every detail of our special day! Don't hesitate to hire her because you will be overjoyed with the results. Call her now!!!!! :) read more

AMAZING! Brit is an absolutely amazing photographer! My husband and I feel so lucky to have found such a talented photographer with such a lovely personality and at a great cost. I came across Brit's info on Craigslist and when I went to her website I knew she had talent. When we met in person she was so easy to talk yet still very professional. We did an engagement photo session at Balboa Park in San Diego and Brit knew exactly where to go, she gave guidance on how to pose that felt natural and relaxed -it was actually a lot of fun! Between the engagement session and wedding, Brit was great about communicating in preparation for the big day, she returned emails in a timely manner and eased any concerns that a nervous bride to be could have. On the day of, Brit and her assistant arrived right on time and went right to work photographing! They got great shots of the accessories, decorations, the family, the venue, everything! People are still telling me what a charming photographer I had! Before we were even home from the honeymoon, Brit had completed the blog - it looked amazing! Within less than a month we were sent all the photos which we were extremely pleased with - she captured all the amazing moments beautifully. Just last week we received a little package in the mail with a sweet congratulations note, Hersey kisses and a cute wood usb drive with our photos on it - what a classy touch! Brit is absolutely amazing, do yourself a favor and use her as your wedding/event photographer! She has such an eye for capturing the perfect shot and makes the entire process fun. Who knew taking pictures could be? Like most couples undergoing engagement shoots, most grooms aren't looking forward to having their picture taken for an hour straight - but she made us so comfortable and relaxed that we had a blast during the shoot and immediately felt at ease! We loved our first set of engagement photos so much that we booked a second engagement shoot with her in downtown. It happened to be on one of the hottest days of the year and yet working with Brit we still enjoyed every second! We both trust her and followed her lead with how to pose and where the best locations are to shoot. Her photos are absolutely stunning and she is so wonderful to work with, I could go on and on!
