This tiny shop seems to have more baby-related products than any other, so it's great for green-mums-with-ethics.
I was shopping for a present for a friend who'd just had a baby, and the small size of the shop made me feel a bit self-conscious while I was browsing. Still, there's a good range of mother-and-baby products, including the BecoPotty (the only eco-friendly potty on the market, apparently), second hand nappies (though these are perhaps not the ideal gift), booster pads, nappy creams, fleece and bamboo nappies, and eco washing products. There are some sweet little organic baby clothes, and some rather expensive green toiletries such as balms, soaps and nappy creams.
Aside from the baby-related goods that dominate the store, you can also buy eco-friendly storm kettles, adult t-shirts and chunky, locally-made, wooden chopping boards, amongst other things. And since everything they stock aims to be both green and ethical, you can shop with a clear conscience. read more
