Obviously this is because they want to keep lower staff and be more profitable in the month of June. Of course they still charge full price around 40$ so we'd expect to have access to a functioning park lol

I love water parks and Mont Saint-Sauveur scratched that itch for me…read more It's a high quality, clean water park with a number of activities to be had for children of all ages. You're rewarded with a beautiful scenic view as you're spending time on a mountain slope over-viewing nature. This is even more apparent since I came here on a beautiful sunny day and even enjoyed myself even when I waited in line to do the rides. Sure, the wait can be 15-20 minutes long but that's part of the game. I simply couldn't help myself and wanted to look at the beautiful horizon as I passed the time. The lobby area consists of a huge ski lodge where you can change and in the winter, keep warm. Yes, this slope is also used to ski. The park itself has about 20 slides of various levels of difficulty. There's traditional attractions like the pool with waves, the lazy river and the such. I really liked "the manic" which is a lazy river for advanced people who get to pushed down stream by waves, sometimes so big you can be tossed into the water. The cascades was also another favorite of mine. There's a big section for small children, so parent/child can keep themselves busy. A few tips : - I would suggest coming during the weekday as it gets quite busy during weekends, it was still quite busy even though we went on a Wednesday. - Buy your tickets online the day before, the money you save it quite notable. - Get some water shoes, walking barefoot for hours on asphalt wasn't the most exciting experience.

Visited Calypso Waterpark for the 1st time!…read more Wait times are extremely long on the weekends, waited 2 hours to get onto the lazy river. Food was average but pretty expensive, paid $66 for 4 beers & nacho's. The wait times are honestly worse than Canada's Wonderland in GTA, not well organized for efficiency. What's the point of buying tickets online if they overpack the park anyways? Lined up for the Boomerang ride with tons of others in line at 4:50pm, 2 people out of our group of 7 needed to go to the washroom & stepped out for a few minutes while 5 were waiting in line. When they came back, security walked into the line to remove them because they got notice from one lifeguard. Right before this, we witnessed another lifeguard telling another family that if they had others waiting in the line, they could re-join the line. Wasn't happy with this unfair treatment at all. Descent variety of rides & we still had fun as a group (thus the 3-star and not 1).

It's about 1.45 hour drive from Montreal, don't drive to quick all you eager beavers because once you get in to Ontario the speed limit changes. You're charged 10$ for parking and 10$ to rent a locker ( yes they take cards ) You are not allowed to bring in booze so keep that in mind when you're packing you're cooler. (They do have a few bars on site but don't know the prices) Bathrooms are hidden behind the locker room shack FYI AQUALOOPS .... Do you have nerves of steel? Ready to take on G-force speeds? The cabin door shuts and you feel a rush of excitement. 3, 2, 1...The trap door suddenly swings open and gravity pulls you down at over 60 km/h! In less than 2 seconds, you go from 0 to 2.5Gs. How's that for fast? You won't even have time to scream and the next second you're laying down at the bottom of the slide confused as ever. Amazing ! KONGO EXPEDITION .... An old legend has it that there is a mystery at the end of this wave river. What could it be? Jump on a giant inner tube and let the waves transport you through an unexplored world. Deserted islands, flooded caves and raging waterfalls await during this thrilling adventure! Watch out for the exotic animals, reptiles and sneaky primates along the way! Best 15 minutes i spent on a ride all day. TURBO LAB .... i went down the acid test which was a tube for two people that spins and spins around once you get to the middle you go down a little slide and in to a pool. CALYPSO PALCE ..... Canada's largest wave pool ! Waves reach up to 1.8 meters high when you go all the way to the front. You will hear a sound go off and people will start screaming meaning the waves are about to start. There is smoking sections on site and yes you can now go topless for those of you who have been following the news and no I did not see anyone topless lol. All and all it was a great day FYI keep ur tickets or receipts as you can go back a second day for a whopping $12 only.

Very young children can go to the beach, the wave pool and the water jungle gym. Kids can go on many slides and rides and adults have all the rest of the options. My favourite rides are the tornado for adults and the tall purple slides. The park is clean and employes were concerned about clients safety which is great. PRO-tips to making the most of this water park: 1. Bring your own picnic, you can bring anything as long as it's not in glass containers 2. Buy your tickets online to beat the line. You can find promo codes online to get $10 off. 3. Go on a hot day that has a small chance of rain so that less people go and the lines are shorter. 4. Stay until closing, 1 hour before alot of people start to leave so you can do your favourite rides a few more times!

With the majority of staff being young adults on summer jobs I had concerns of the safety more than once. It's also a relatively small park so it gets pretty packed. The fact it is so close to Montreal doesn't help! The selection of activities/slides are limiting and I'm seriously not a fan waiting 45 minutes to get on a less than 2 minute ride. Honestly, there are far better options out there. Do your homework and check your options.

Summary: Beautiful mountain, polite bilingual staff, and adequate facilities but only one green hill for beginners (obviously not their fault). My family spent the day at the mountain with three of us taking lessons and two being experienced skiers. We had private lessons and my instructor's name was Elsie (pardon the probable misspelling!). She was very friendly and polite although she may be a little new at instructing as I believe she could have given us a few more pointers that the two experienced skiers in my group were able to help with. She was very encouraging and understanding when I needed to take breaks - skiing is hard on your calves! I would recommend taking lessons with her. The "bunny jump" was not very steep or long at all and was difficult to practice on. The "magic carpet" that takes you to the top of the hill stopped moving every time we were on it; sometimes it was because of it breaking down and sometimes it was an emergency stop. After practicing the "bunny jump" for two hours during the lesson and another half hour after lunch at the Chalet (burgers were good, pizza was terrible), we thought we were ready for the blue slopes. Ohhh buddy were we wrong. Both experienced skiers were able to make it down without too much trouble but us newbies got our butts kicked. My brother had to slide down the mountain on his rear end. When I asked if I could carry my skis down, a mountain lifeguard (I don't know the official name) suggested calling a toboggan to carry me down instead. I certainly wasn't in any mood to argue. While waiting for the toboggan, I was very nervous and disappointed so I began talking to the guide. He helped keep me calm and stayed with me for the 15 or so minutes it took for the toboggan to get to us (yes, I know it's his job but it was appreciated nonetheless). Turns out his name is Martin (if I remember correctly) and he is a Montreal Canadiens fan! When help arrived, they strapped me into what looked like a yellow body bag and skied me down the mountain in what looked like a cross between a toboggan and a rickshaw. Martin brought the skis down behind us. Thank you to the kind and understanding staff for all their patience. I'm sorry for the long review, it was just quite a day! I'd like to say we hit the slopes but it's more like the slopes hit us.

They even have a black diamond and double diamond runs. I think the only two things I found is that the lift is super slow (due to its path) and that the cafeteria's food is not that good. But I came here to ski not to eat so no complients good food is a bonus the trails are whatmatters and they rock.
