The owner of Educare who also has a young son that he brings daily, had some of the same concerns and installed a filtering system to prevent the spreading of germs as much as possible. The staff has been wonderful and willing to meet my creative needs with after-school care for my older child and I am quite impressed with the fact that my 4 year old left Educare knowing the months of the year and the days of the week and some Spanish as well!!! This is pretty impressive and not your average day care facility. I would encourage you to meet with Ryan the owner who has a heart for the kids and only wants the best situation for you and your children and does the best he can to provide a facility that is not just Ordinary but Extraordinary.

If you tour the facility and think my post was written by someone who "just had a bad experience," you'll regret it, I promise. The director and assistant director are a joke and it seems that lies run rampant in this "Christian" environment. I could go on and on about the multitude of issues there, but the bottom line is don't do it. Leave your child with someone you don't know before leaving them at this facility.

I have had the best experience with all the staff especially the Director and Assistant Director. They take the time to listen to your concerns and protect your child. The Director and Assistant Director make sure that sick policies are followed so that your child will not fall ill to the usual childhood illnesses, especially Hand, Foot and Mouth. They have the greatest and strictest policy, some parents don't like it, but it kept my child from catching this highly contagious illness. This preschool is super clean and fresh smelling and the ladies there absolutely love the children. Go meet the ladies, you will love them.

Usually she should get at least a week of them trying to work around her or make her comfortable and I barely got a Day and every day after that I was called to pick her up not even an hour or two into the day. I was told that she wasn't ready to come back next year. Not even a week later I got her into another daycare. They actually gave her a week even before the week my daughter was happy there at the new daycare. Throughout the few months of my son being enrolled we could not truly get feedback on his progress or any changes in his routine. We always received a form that was partially filled out. What we were told about his day did not match what was written down. For example, the form said he was happy but they told us he cried all day. At one point, his teacher retired and we were never notified of the change to a new teacher. Once the new teacher arrived, my son cried daily begging us not to send him. The meals provided were mediocre. For a child with nut allergies, my was offered a cheese sandwich and cheese cubes for lunch when others had a PB&J. They did not let me bring him food into the facility for those days and said they ran out of meat. He came home starving. When I expressed my concerns they were pacified with no real changes. The final straw was when I walked up to his classroom door (always closed at pick up time) and I heard his teacher call my son annoying. While I understand all little kids can be annoying, it is not appropriate for a daycare teacher to call a child annoying and put them in time out. When I asked the teacher, she completely changed her tune. While I believe they try, I do not believe the quality of care is the best, ultimately leading us to removing our son. If you ha e other options- go there.
