That is the furthest from the truth. I been to this spot over a dozen times, to see my man "Boris" he has yet to disappoint. It's funny my barber in Long Island, is from Queens. Shop is fully renovated Modern & straight to the point, with some extra comfortable waiting chairs. They take walk ins, Roman in the first chair is nice with it also ... I have never walked in, I don't like waiting, it's played out. Always called ahead w/ Boris. He didn't even bother to clean up the sides or make them even. It was so bad I actually had to pay another shop just to fix his work. The shop itself is clean and nice looking, but the skills just aren't there. I will never come back. They charge $30 for a regular cut, I tipped extra 5. but honestly, I'd rather spend 40 somewhere else to get it done right the first time.

I looked at the board and saw Rockabilly Barbers offers a hot towel shave. I was asked if I had an appointment, I did not but they were able to squeeze me in. What I didn't expect was the extra treatment. The barber shaved the back of my neck and trimmed around my ears. Very nice touch. My shave was great, the barber put different lotions on my face and with the hot towel, it made me like Benjamin Buttons. Haha, just funnin'. Great shave, My new favorite spot.

Danny is the man, always does a great job and is a really nice guy that does his best to keep on time and get you in and out. Note: They raised their pricing to $25 (from $20) for a standard men's haircut late last year, so don't be surprised - seems to be the market rate for places around here. Parking stinks in Port Jeff overall, and the parking right outside on the main drag is only 30 minutes, and the meter maids are out in full effect during the nice weather months, so park there at your own risk.
