Where do I start? Well let's start with Steve the man.
He calls a spade a spade, there is no beating around the bush with this guy, some can handle it, some cannot. The former are the only group of people who have what it takes to pass a driving test, although the test itself (as he constantly reminds me) is easy. This is conditional to your temperament, and that is also based on your ability to handle criticism, laugh at yourself a little bit and take a good mickey-taking, to which Steve is an undisputed professional at doing.
The money is not only worth the in depth and succinct guidance, but I have honestly never laughed so much as I have with Steve, probably one of the funniest guys I have ever came across. Steve is a very well rounded gentleman: his knowledge of politics, the occurrences of the local area, music, movies, philosophy and general life advice covers the tip of the iceberg of the conversations I've personally had with this legend! As a university student, he argues better than any of my seminarians hands down, maybe even better than me. Just be sure to bring your personality into the car with you, and it'll be like driving with your personal therapist (just don't unload all of your personal issues onto that poor man, he has a plethora of clients to deal with as well as you).
I have been with three different instructors before Steve. Steve was the one who got me through my test, he never made me feel like just another client to deal with. I had a great amount of shits and giggles with him.
The car itself is easy to drive and very informative (as he constantly reminds me whenever I mess up the gears!) In all seriousness, having a car that is very 'informative' and responsive can really introduce you to the sensitivities and subtleties of all road vehicles as your first car.
I have passed my test, but I'll always remember the good times I had with Steve!
