Brighthouse Networks - Professional Services Near Me - Tampa, Florida

I came to this location over the weekend to return some equipment I found a year after a move. I am happy to report that even thought I did not renew my contract with bright house the customer service given on site was excellent. I have been to this location a few times while I had Brighthouse as a provider. Each time I have never had an issues with the representative at the site. This time in particular Caren waited on me and she was courteous and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend asking for her if you need to go to the location. I also recommend keeping your eyes peeled for the location because if you are driving to fast you will zoom right past it. FYI read my tips on this location :-) read more

What a joke! Run as fast as you can to Verizon. The absolute worst customer service in Tampa Bay. We had 4 appts for a tech to come out and only one time did anyone show up. I wasted an entire weekend waiting on them to show up. The one time they did. The guy wasn't able to complete the job. I have spent 3 hours on the phone waiting and have gotten nothing but excuses as to why the service has been so terrible. Do yourself a favor and don't live in a brighthouse unless you want bad service, your bills increased every year, and less than stellar customer service. read more

This is literally THE WORST cable company EVER!!! Every time I try to do something with my account I'm quoted one price then when I get my bill it's ALWAYS more. I set up auto billing because I was only paying for my DVR service (due to the fact that I have to stick with this God awful company because of the complex I live in) 3 months later one of the technicians pounding on my door demanding I give him my equipment or pay a $92 bill!!! They take total advantage of their customers and have no consideration for their extreme LACK of customer service. In the past I've had Time Warner, Comcast and Verizon and I would take any of them over Brighthouse!!! I would rate this company -3 STARS if I was allowed!!! read more

Iiterally don't know who is more incompetent Brighthouse or Frontier. I grew weary of the crap & increasing bills with Frontier, so decided to give Brighthouse a try. Most of us have heard the story about how many people does it take to screw in a light bulb Well, this is the same premis. After literally hours on the phone getting my order correct, it was still wrong. I don't know about your house, but when it comes to cable & internet, tensions run high in my house. After 2 days of being told it would be corrected between 12 & 6 PM & no technician showing, I was getting to that verge, ya, you know "that" verge. At 10:30 at night I am being told, the technician is on his way....from where I have no idea, but I bet I could have moved faster. 2 days of staying home from work, listening to all the complaints & setting on hold with Brighthouse. Yup, you got it.....the verge was winning. At 11 PM I called Brighthouse & got the call center in Ontario!!!!! Yes, the Ontario, in Canada. That was it I locked the bedroom door, put pillows over my ears & retreated from the world of technology via Brighthouse. A week latter & 2 technician visits latter....the problems keep coming my way. My sanity is restored, but the rest is purely open for debate, as the hits keep coming. What's a girl to do? Making the executive decisions is a bitch...... read more

I have had issues with brighthouse over the last few months. It takes several visits to correct problems. When they replace the tv cable boxes they use refurbished equipment. The techs really don't care. But bright house sure knows how to bump their prices up in the middle of all this. Talk about kicking a guy when he is down. Also. Their cables appear not be grounded. So when you have lightning it comes through your cable destroying everything connected to it. And they don't care. You pay. read more

Bright House was at least fair until bought out by Spectrum. Our costs doubled and the customer service is nonexistent. When my husband asked about why our bill went from $104 to $191 with the switch and asked for retention, the attitude was pretty much we don't care what you do. So we are leaving for Frontier. Seems a large amount of our neighborhood is leaving Bright House. Please do not get sucked in with their deals because they are just lies to get you in. read more

Brighthouse SSSSUUUUCKKKKSS!!! But so does Verizon, and Brighthouse is cheaper! But come on, these BULLSHIT Brighthouse wifi hot spots are a joke! My phone constantly auto connects to them and they ALWAYS lag out and force me to shut off wifi so I can use internet on my phone... Brighthouse, PLEASE upgrade your infrastructure! The coaxel is so obviously overloaded. Verizon has you spanked so bad, but they are typically $10-$15 more per month. As soon as you increase pricing to keep up with them I'm jumping ship! read more

Atrocious service. I've called and emailed them in an attempt to cancel my service because I am moving to another state. read more

Avoid at all costs. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We pay over $150 per month just for cable and internet. The Internet service is terrible along with the tech support. The connection keeps dropping off and we've had 4 techs out in less than a week and all of our devices checked for issues. I was also home waiting for a tech and then got a cancellation call saying that no one was home when they tried to come which is a blatant lie. It's been over a week this past time and our internet is still unusable on all our devices. This is just the most recent problem in 3 years of terrible service. Sadly they are the only company available in our area. I make a point of checking every few months to see if by some miracle I can switch. If you can get ANYONE else I would highly recommend it. read more

I absolutely loathe Brighthouse! Worst company ever! High prices for low quality service. Internet is soooo slow. The guy who installed my stuff left a huge hole in my wall by the outlet that they NEVER replaced or compensated me for. Go anywhere else!! read more

After I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, a representative contacted me promptly and did manage to rectify the issues I mention above. We were credited for all of the excess charges, and everything was fine after that. It shouldn't take hours of being on hold, explaining the errors repeatedly, and filing a complaint with the BBB for a company to abide by their policies though! read more

Worst company ever to do business with! Terrible customer service, terrible is not strong enough a word! They do not show up when scheduled and takes over 15 minutes to call them!!!! Their internet is horrible. I do not recommend this company to anyone!!! read more
