Yelp was established to be a safe place for open, fair, and free speech, without fear of retribution from business owners for telling the truth. I'm not sure someone this volatile should be in the child care business. And any business owner, in any line of work, trying to "shut up" anyone who dares to give a negative review shouldn't be in business, period.

My child looks forward to going every single day, and he has made great friends there. He loves Mrs. Rosa's cooking (she provides breakfast, snacks, and lunch for full time kiddos!) and all of the fun activities she plans for them each day. After interviewing five different providers, I decided to put my trust in Neda and Simin. My daughter has been with Modern Day for over two years. We take her on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am until noon. For well under $200 a month, she gets a healthy breakfast AND lunch, reading time, play time, and learning time. She is an only child - not just our only child, but the only child in her generation in our entire extended family. Being with Neda and Simin, she has improved her ability to play well with others, to be cooperative, share, and to be gracious when winning OR losing games. They have helped to reinforce early educational skills - alphabet, counting, shapes, sight words. Her confidence has increased and is a very outgoing little lady, which is especially comforting since both my husband and I are introverted and not so socially outgoing. Neda is a well-educated, kind, compassionate woman. She has a degree in child development, but still continues to expand and update her knowledge and expertise with evening courses throughout the year. Each year, she would check in with the parents and try to schedule her vacation AROUND everybody else. This past year, she ended up splitting her vacation from her family's, so that they could remain open full-time. She genuinely cares about all of the kids there, and will let you know if there are any concerns or issues that arise, as well as praise when they have done exceptionally well.
