He was a pleasure to work with throughout the project: professional, friendly, patient and responsive, promptly answering all my questions. He visited the site daily and provided regular updates on job progress. His crew was on-time, efficient and hard-working. Not one complaint from any of the tenants or the neighbors, in fact, the tenants praised the crew's professionalism, how they cleaned up after each work day, and how beautiful the building looked once the job was done. Estuardo initially estimated 3-4 week completion, the work was done in three. I would not hesitate to hire Fresh Start again. He, his crew, and the quality of the work are outstanding!

We have just had the pleasure of having the exterior of our house, and a shed painted by an exceptional company, Fresh Start. Dealing with the owner Estuardo was a great experience . He listened patiently to our ideas and implemented every one of them. Many times we've had contractors be very 'fluid' about time. This doesn't take the clients time into consideration and what they may have to juggle to make themselves available. Estuardo's crew was on time each day, on the dot, and worked tirelessly for 6 days. They did a very thorough and professional job, repaired some dry rot, and added accents that we requested. We would recommend this company without hesitation to anyone looking for a top notch painting company.

These guys really are as good as it gets! Philip and his team are professional and perfect at what…read morethey do. And, importantly, they are licensed and bonded. Some of the top painters in the area are not! Ask your painter for their license number! We hired Redhill to paint 7 rooms in our house (living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, entryway, hallway). They did the work in 5 days. On the last day, we decided that we had to add on the kitchen because everything else looked so good that it made the kitchen look bad. They were able to get some their team to work on Saturday at the last minute to fit in the extra room. Philip even recommended a color for the kitchen that would go well with the other colors we had chosen for the other rooms. I am *very* detail oriented, and if I see rough edges or mistakes, it drives me absolutely bonkers. But like I said, these guys were perfect. I'm not saying there weren't minor things to fix, but they fixed them and the final product is as good as it could be. We also had them demo a built-in that was not original to the house (and was not great in general). They did the demo then patched up the wall. Now it looks like it was never there! They were able to add this work on and we paid a reasonable price for time and materials to get the work done. Speaking of price, they gave us an estimate that was thoroughly prepared and broken out by trim, walls, and ceilings. They did the work specified, they added the change order for the extra room, charged for the demo work, and that was it. On time and on cost and perfect work. I couldn't ask for more! Oh, and they prepped and covered *everything* and kept a small footprint while working throughout the house. I was concerned about our 104-year-old hardwoods and they showed them great care and respect. Speaking of care and respect, they came on time, left on time, were always friendly, and cleaned up after themselves every single day. You should hire Redhill Painting. You'll find cheaper painters, and if you are just painting a rental unit and don't care if they slop paint around, go for the cheapest. But if you want something done properly, pay the extra money because you really do get what you pay for. Check out the pics I've posted.

His painters Juan and Alejandro were professional, courteous and always kept the area around our home tidy as they were working on our home. It was about a 2 week job and Keith and his team were flexible on start time since we had other home projects happening simultaneously. He was responsive throughout the process and patient with us as we decided on colors. He also repaired several things without charging us and we were so pleased that he didn't just paint over dry rotted wood or our damaged roof trim. He was committed to doing a great job and we were very please and will hire him again the next time our home needs painting (which we're hoping won't be for a while since we opted for 3 coats - 1 of the coats being the long lasting elastomeric paint :) Thank you Atlas Painting!

The crew left excessive overspray, failing to properly cover surfaces or move items that should have been protected. More seriously, they sprayed insulation foam onto our truck. Both the head worker/project manager, Juan, and the supervisor, David Alaniz, personally promised me that the foam would be removed and the truck restored. Despite these assurances, they went silent and have taken no responsibility. The removal of the insulation foam is estimated to cost between $1,500 and $2,000. To make matters worse, I have discovered that Atlas Painting is no longer operating on Thumbtack under that name. Based on their conduct--causing damage, making false promises to fix it, and then disappearing--I believe they are running a fraudulent business designed to avoid accountability.

What really impressed me is the prep work they put in--scraping off old flaking paint, filling gaps and holes, and ensuring the foundation was solid. They also discovered and fixed a ton of dry-rot wood; work that wasn't in the original scope but was absolutely necessary for a job that will last. Every edge is clean, the coverage is flawless, and the color transitions are perfect. It's clear they take pride in their work and understand that great results start with proper preparation. What really stands out is how genuinely nice and friendly the workers were. They were professional, respectful, and a pleasure to have around the house. They answered questions, accommodated our needs, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. That kind of friendliness makes all the difference. We chose Bigler based upon many good reviews here on Yelp and his initial Bid being inline with most competing contractors and finally, an assurance that everything would be done on time and within budget. He estimated 5 weeks to complete the project, but they finished in just 4 weeks--from July 11th through August 8th--and were completely offsite by August 13th. They stayed on schedule and left the place spotless. You can't ask for better than that.
