Zero Stars... After a major rain storm in the area, we woke…read moreup to our basement flooded. We called ServPro and they said they would be right out. It took several hours but one employee showed up late that evening. He explained that he could have a crew come out over night to start the cleanup. To keep from being charged "off hour" fees, I told him to hold off until the morning and he said they would be out at 8am. We asked for an estimate of how much the cleanup would cost. He stated it would be between $2000-$5000. I asked if he could be more precise. He said it was hard to say, but he estimated that it would be closer to the $2000 level. Workers didn't show up until around 5pm the next 2 days even after giving an 8am estimated start time. We asked 2 or 3 more times for an estimate on the cost. Each time, they repeated the $2000-$5000 range, but closer to the $2000. We called, and the office workers explained that the crew chief would be better to estimate it. After the 2 days of cleanup, they left their machines for a few more days and stopped by once a day to check their meters. I asked for the total bill and they still didn't know. I called 2 or 3 more times and was told they were still "working on" the bill. After 2 weeks, we received a bill of over $12,000. The bill and 330 pages of supporting documents arrived in an email. It took them more time to create the bill than they spent working in my house. How can that be?!?! How can they be that far off in their estimate? When I called and spoke to the management, they said I should have asked for an estimate first. We did. He said we shouldn't have asked the workers for an estimate. How were we to know that? If you send an employee out to my house, he is your representative. Unless he says otherwise, he is authorized to give estimates. ServPro manager says they won't change the bill.

I did business with this place because they had the cheapest price and I couldn't afford others. Here's my experience. Left a laptop and phone with CRC. Gentleman was extremely soft spoken but, kind of anxious. Told him what I need and he sounded confident he could fix with ease. I can have your laptop ready by Monday and I'll order new screen for phone should take a day or two to get here. Monday comes around no answer. He posted on site that due to New Year Eve and Day hours may be adjusted. OK.. I just wanted to leave a message for someone to call me when they did arrive. Couldn't leave message because box was full. Ok...a few days later I visit shop. Laptop was ready but, he never saved my items like I asked him to. Thank goodness I backed up my items on the cloud. The computer moves much faster so I'm grateful he was able to repair it. As for phone.....He stated that screen should come in today for your phone. I informed the gentleman that I will give him until tomorrow and if the screen didn't come in to call me. That was probably Jan 3. It's Jan 14 and I finally retrieve my phone. Not because he called me to tell me the screen never came in. I was in the area and stopped by. I'm not sure what's up with this guy but something isn't right. Take your items elsewhere.
