I think Kyle came through with what they had quoted over the phone and e-mails but I really made the mistake of assuming items would be mimicked from the stock seats I shipped to them from Ohio. (Item one) I was not happy about was not having the perferated center area which I really wanted to go with for the OEM look I was trying to acheive. (Item two) we had spoke about getting the Z51 embroidered on the head rest which did not get done, Kyles excuse was the person he was talking with just kept giving him the run around so I said howmuch longer will it take to get them done and he said probobly another month or so after they had my seats for close to four months already. Yes when we innitially spoke he said they were super swamped and I would need to get inline which I agreed to no problem for me. I think they did an amazing job (item three) this is the one thing I really was bummed about was not having that brand new leather smell which I was dreaming of! Today I let my car sit in the sun to get the wrinckles to relax and when I opened the door the car had that musty old smell that kind of permiated throughout the cab of my C6, When Kyle and I spoke he gave me the impression that he was purchasing brand new leather from his supplier but it appears this leather may have been sitting in some warehouse for who knows how long, yes I am bummed and you know I would have purchased brand new seats if I could have located them the money was not an item, I just wanted perfection but I guess you live and learn!

I had a terrific experience at Bright, when something broke inside the driver's seat of my car, and it wouldn't stay upright. My regular mechanic referred me to Bright, and they asked me to bring it in to take a look. A bit of poking and prodding yielded a diagnosis of broken welds. They scheduled a day to bring it in, and the work was done by mid-afternoon, same day. They were also able to make a carpeting repair, taking care of a relatively small issue without turning it into a major replacement. The cost came in at almost exactly the amount of the original estimate. All in all, it was a perfect transaction, keeping my old car on the road with a minimum of fuss.

Nice guy working there gave me great advice, even though he knew I couldn't afford to get my seat covered there. Now that's service!

I took them in and Mike said as long as I didn't mind losing the mirrors (which I didn't), that he could do it no problem.

These guys are fantastic! Very good at their jobs and willing to put in extra work to get it done…read more My serpentine belt, alternator, and battery all crapped out at once and my car died in the middle of the road, right at an intersection. I had it towed to Metro Metric based on a friend's recommendation and prayed it was a good choice, and they really came through. I dropped the car off at 2:00 pm and Ron told me he probably wouldn't be able to get to it until the next day, which I said was totally fine. To my surprise, they called me to say everything was fixed and done at 8:30 the next morning. They even stayed late to finish the repairs! Their prices are also the best I've found anywhere. I went to another place first that quoted me $1700 (before tax because this was in Washington). Metro Metric only charged me $797, which was actually less than they quoted me for when I dropped it off and told them what the other mechanic said was wrong. Where else can you find a second opinion that charges you $900 less than the first guys? I will definitely be coming back here for any future car troubles! Probably even oil changes from time to time.

Do you ever feel like an auto shop is trying to rip you off? Or that it's condescending to you…read morebecause you're a woman? Or that it's attempting to sell you services that you don't actually need? You will NEVER feel that way at Metro Metric. When you call, you'll usually speak directly to Ron. He's a great dude. You may have to wait several days or weeks for your appointment, but it's worth the wait. Metro Metric will diagnose the problem with ease, and the repair price will be very reasonable. In some cases, they'll tell you that you don't even need to fix the problem at all. My husband and I have been using Metro Metric for several years, and they've been able to solve a bunch of issues on our Honda Element and Scion XB: starter issues, coolant issues, various error codes, etc. We also use Metro Metric for oil changes and routine maintenance. We can't imagine going anywhere else.

Green Drop Garage

I've been a Green Drop Garage Car Care member for some time and have had almost entirely positive…read moreexperiences. I thought about giving 4 stars instead of 5 because one location caught mistakes made by another location in diagnosing problems, but I figure the latter cancels out the former rather than the former dragging it all down. Just because of scheduling, I once took my car into the NW location instead of Central, where I normally go. They said I needed new front brakes but Central said that was a mistake, so I didn't have to pay for unnecessary repairs. Also on the plus side, I was initially told that my rear drum brakes needed to be replaced, but it was instead a minor adjustment. These two things saved me $800 I was prepared to spend. Maybe the NW location meant rear brakes. Either way, the diagnosis showed the mm caliper measurements so I could see for myself what the situation was. I get tires from Les Schwab but Green Drop always updates me on their status, does the rotation, etc. Recently, my low air pressure light came on. This happens when the weather changes but I'd recently hit some potholes on an unimproved road in east county so I thought I might have a slow leak. I took my car in to Les Schwab and the tech there, without inspecting, said my tire sensors were bad and would need to be replaced. Someone led me to believe that might be somewhat expensive, $300-something, but I figured I'd get it done next time I get new tires. Green Drop checked things out and determined that the software just needed to be reset. The fix was included in my Car Care membership so it didn't cost me anything. With Les Schwab being bought out, I may start getting tires through Green Drop too, though I appreciate there are trade-offs and I've generally been happy with LS. There was also a coupon code for a discount recently. I scheduled my preventative maintenance so I could use the code. Green Drop noted that my Car Care discount was better and applied that instead, again saving me money (an extra 5%). As mentioned above re: my brake pads, I like how they include photos and explanations of potential or actual problems they see. Recently, they've noted something about control arm bushings cracking that they'll keep an eye on. I don't know what that means but I now have some information so I can educate myself or ask questions. They have also been very good about helping me to prioritize maintenance based on timing and my budget. I kind of wish they had some sort of pick up and drop off service but I understand COVID19 complicated that kind of thing and Uber/Lyft make it easier for people to make their own arrangements. At least at the NW and Central locations, there are cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby to wait at.

Terrible experience! Brought my car in for check engine light + mechanical locks malfunctioning,…read moreended up being upsold from initial quote of $1,100 to $2,300- and they didn't even fix those problems. So I had to come back and pay ANOTHER $300. Not to mention that all of this happened after signing up for their monthly service, which they mistakenly charged me twice for. I only need my mechanic to A) effectively communicate what's going on and B) solve my car problems, both of which were fails at this location. Awful customer experience, I won't be returning
