At UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center. He literally saved my life. I live in orange county California and was blessed enough to be referred to him by my insurance. I had open heart surgery and he did repair on my valves and removed the tumor from my heart. He also did a procedure called the Cox Maze. He was the best doctor I could have ever been blessed with. I praise God each day that I was blessed by having him as my surgeon. Not only is he one of the best surgeons. And very professional. He also had an awesome bedside manner. He made me laugh a lot which helped through the recovery. I highly recommend him to anyone.

In total I saw 4 different technicians and was in and out of there in less than 1 hour. One otolaryngologist, Maura, did a phenomenal job cleaning my ears. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Also, valet parking was a plus because it was only $12. Overall, great experience and would highly recommend this clinic!

She was kind but authoritative in her recommendations: I tried to negotiate an occasional reprieve from the raw oyster ban (see my review of Neptune Oyster for proof that I'm a huge raw oyster aficionado) and she gently told me "No f'ing way." However, when I told her I wanted to travel to Laos, she didn't skip a beat -- she outlined the problems and possible solutions and advised me to consult the MGH travel clinic and to come see her for a detailed review of my options. She was sensitive to the fact that I was an individual with a life to lead before I was a patient and went out of her way to treat me with respect and attempted to ameliorate the difficulties thst my new medical regime had foisted upon me. I waited for a month to get a followup mammogram and ultrasound. I chose BMC because they were the…read moreearliest available. I received no less than 6 emails and texts to remind me of the appointment and to pay the copay, which I prepaid online. After I left work early and waited 1.5 hr at BMC, someone came to tell me that they cannot see me today because they did not receive the images from my prior mammogram, and I needed to reschedule. You couldn't have told me that 1.5 hr ago? I could've contacted the other clinic within the last 1.5 hr to have them send the images over. Whose responsibility is it to get the images? When I booked the appointment, I made sure to tell them my original mammogram was from another clinic. No one followed up with me. No one asked me to sign a release. They sure sent me enough reminders to get their money though. When I asked for my money back, I had to wait to "talk to the manager." They could not give me my money back, but told me to call the 800 number for BMC's billing dept. No, thank you! I'm not wasting any more of my time with BMC. I just disputed the charge with my credit card. This is not the standard of care that I would expect even at a small local rundown hospital, let alone what they claim they are at BMC. If you are looking for a high standard of care and a team that follows up and follows through, BMC is not it. My husband also had many bad experiences with BMC making appointments in the wrong department and cancelling on him without notice. When you are dealing with cancer or potential cancer patients, it doesn't seem to matter to them. Time is not of the essence. As long as they get their money, they're all good. Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else. There are much better hospitals in Boston.

Well my dad who is a 80 yr old diabetic had a infected toe which he and I bought to their attention…read moreabout 10 months ago...his primary care nurse as well as doctor were aware...I even sent his nurse a photo of the discolored toe which was Oozing puss...I was told that it was healing and get anti biotic cream and cover with gauze .which we did to no avail...over the next several months conversations were had about pain...again nothing done...about 4 months later showed toe to his heart doctor he even said something is not right with toe and sent doctor a message again nothing is done ,as it gets worse my dad is sleeping with foot contorted to ease pain finally sleeping on floor...I call PC nurse to inform her of this finally he's brought to hospital....where toe has to be amputated...but it's over a year now ...the infection has spread throughout his body and TAKEN HIS LIFE...if the toe had been properly evaluated over ten months ago ...I was told by nurse at nursing home toe could have been amputated then and he would have been cured of infection
