The owner was difficult to say the least and behaved as though it was entirely my fault. I clearly put HIM out, by purchasing a defective product from his store. I decided to contact the champagne company, and after having sent a photo of the packaging along with other information, it was explained that the bottle was 10 years old. I strongly suggest the owner take it upon himself to practice quality control (i.e., take responsibility for his merchandise), and that customers review the expiration dates on the products they purchase from the store, as it will be very challenging and/or futile to receive reimbursement. The owner clearly does not feel inclined to work with the customer in making good on defective products.

There's nothing more aggravating to me than walking into an establishment that we spend money in and not even being acknowledged by the owners. There is another place here in town, which I will not name, that I purposely say hello to the owner when I walk in, and he will not even say hello let alone look up at me. it's all about customer service! If they don't have something you want, all you have to do is ask! Us as well of friends have asked for certain products and they are there before we know it. The other great thing about red light is that their hours are longer than any other place here in town. that might not sound much to Sam but when you are entertaining, I need to possibly head out for additional spirits. You can always count on them to be open! They had a lot of liquor and a decent selection of wine. But I'm a beer guy and that's what I was there for. They had a broad selection of domestic mass market beers but not so much in the craft beer space. However, I was able to pick up a few decent beers and the prices were super reasonable! Very friendly cashier and they have a nice assortment of snacks by the front door if you need a nosh after you buy your booze. One note, they don't take Amex.
