The resort is also walkable to many cafes, restaurants, and shops. Once we got to Marram (we took a cab from the LIRR to the resort), we did not have to do any additional driving while we were there.
The rooms are on the smaller side, but comfortable. The bed linens are like you are sleeping on a cloud. You can control the air conditioning to your liking. The room has very little in the way of amenities - free water, sparkling water, popcorn, hairnets, and makeup remover. No bath robe or slippers, so be sure to bring your own.
The pool is very small but it does go up to 8 feet, which is nice. The cafe/restaurant on the premises is awesome. We loved all of the baked goods including the ham and cheese miso scone, the croissants, and the cookies.
This area of the beach was quiet during the week. Fun place to sun bathe, watch the surfers, and really relax. While we were at Marram, I also took advantage of one of their free meditation sessions. If you're there while Raymond is doing the meditation, definitely check it out! It was a very relaxing way to kick off our stay.
The walls are hilariously thin, but nothing that we weren't able to sleep through. Our room faced the courtyard and I was worried that it would be too loud at night, but it seems like they're serious about enforcing the quiet hours, which is nice.
If you're looking for a chill, close to everything, walk onto the beach resort, this is the place for you!
