I went to Bridge Recruitment as I sent them my CV and they suggested I go in and register with them. I went to their office where I was asked to complete some tests on the computer and fill in some forms. After all this I had a chat with a consultant who basically told me my salary expectations and job requirements were unrealistic and ridiculous despite the fact I am already doing a similar job to the one I was looking for. The consultant basically didn't listen to anything I said about what I was looking for and tried to send me for a job interview for a role that was nothing like what I said I was looking for. I left feeling belittled and patronised and as though I'd just wasted my time massively. I haven't heard from them since and I won't be contacting them. I have achieved far more through conducting my own job searches and have secured interviews for several jobs. read more
