I have been feeling like the enemy or the devil has been attacking me. And I've morning a lost from a relationship, my cars engine broke down on me, listening to family drama and I'm just like what did I do to deserve this. I am blessed enough to have friends to come and get me to take me to church, and I even walked back home after. Took me 3 and half hours to walk but I needed that. There was plenty of parking in the garage, come early especially since this Saturday they had this performance of the passion play. Great singing and performance by everyone. We took communion. I'm torn by the way I feel. I feel like there is an angel and a demon on my shoulders that tugging on my heart, mind and spirit. I want to do right. So god has it on my heart to lean on him while I am feeling so low. Not going to lie I miss my daughter so much.

Why am I being told I could not get my daughter that I had to wait 5-10 minutes. During those first 5 minutes another parent comes who received a text for their child. Granted that's more urgent she was assisted ASAP. Even tho I was there before that parent I was never met with let me find someone to assist you getting you your child, I was just told I have to wait. When that parent came out with their child I asked the woman who helped her (the receptionist), why my child can not be brought out to me if I have to go. She said I could only help one parent at a time, to which I responded I was here before the woman you just helped. Finally at 12:17 she takes my portion of ticket to go get my child. That had been over the 5-10 minutes I was initially supposed to wait. I do not appreciate my daughter being held hostage at the convenience of staff! Proper communication would have been nice but I guess you have to come at these workers rude so they could attend to you. Because when I was asking nicely NO ONE wanted to help. My daughter did not walk out of shepards kids until 12:23!!!! Not even then did they open for the other parents to get their children. I also don't appreciate the receptionist assuming I'm lying that I'm picking up my daughter, my daughter was confused as to why she was being questioned on who I was! 28 minutes is how long it took for me to get my daughter from shepards kids! There won't be a next time unfortunately!

I've been attending St. Catherine of Siena for years, but something happened on Palm Sunday (April…read more13, 2025) that really shocked me and made me feel unsafe. After receiving communion at the 1:30 PM Mass, I stepped outside for a moment to pray because the church was extremely crowded. A man who appeared to be working with the ushers suddenly approached me and began questioning me aggressively, insisting that I was "not allowed" to leave the church after communion. He even said that if I stepped out, he and two other ushers would assume I was "doing something suspicious." Not only was this completely inappropriate--it's also unlawful for anyone to detain or restrict someone from leaving a public building when no crime is occurring. I was simply praying outside, and he continued pressing me, even asking where my wife was in an invasive and uncomfortable way. Only after I explained multiple times that he was disturbing my prayer did he finally back off. This experience was extremely upsetting and made me feel unwelcome at a place that should be peaceful and respectful. I truly hope the parish addresses this behavior so no one else is treated this way. A photo of the individual involved is attached below for reference.

I sat down and heard a powerful message delivered by Pastor David. The Garden's production and stage is also top notch. God is truly working at The Garden Church and you will feel him there. The Garden truly accepts everyone and will make you feel apart of The Garden Family. All of this has led me to become a member in just a month and I now serve at The Garden because I love this church. This church is truly the body of Christ. Yes, it's an option to do so, but I only know that because I wondered in there one day and asked. It's only there for overflow of the actual church itself and I've never seen it so full that anybody would have to view the sermon from the gym. Not once in the entire year I've been attending. There is always ample seating...always. It's an incredible church period...end of story. I pray that all who find those negative reviews ignore that nonsense and come see for themselves. The pastor is 1 in a million as well.
