We had previously made an appointment and were the only ones in the store. The woman working could barely look up from her computer to point towards the catalog of tuxes. They have no tuxes for reference in the store. She offered zero assistance and answered our questions as if we were an extreme bother to her Saturday afternoon social media hour. This place used to be located on third street and we had plenty of good prior experience with the business. After our appointment today we would not do business with them again.

(It's also 1+ years after the other review, so it's also possible that they've changed, got new employees, etc.) I'm in Houghton, but I drove the 100 miles to try dresses on here because I've been to the Marquette bridal shows that they host, so I wanted to check it out. They didn't charge me for try-ons (like other places did), plus they actually let me look at their selection and pick out dresses myself (vs. other places that will have you fill out a style profile, then select dresses that they "think" you'll like). I found styles that I typically wouldn't have liked that looked amazing on me. I wouldn't have been able to do this at other places that pick the dresses for you. A Bride's Choice was also very supportive of my budget and did not try to up-sell me or pressure me into anything. Also, the lady who helped me was legit WORKING. I'm talking bending up, down, up, down, to make sure that my skirt was perfect for photos, that everything fit right, etc. Also, the lady was PREGNANT. She was legitimately hustling to make sure that each dress I tried on looked flawless so that I could make the best assessment on each one. They also carry a wide selection for all sizes (unlike some stores that have more limited selections for plus-sized ladies). Based on my experience, I would highly, highly recommend.

I felt more special getting my oil changed down the road than at this place. You get the third degree before you can even step into their store to look at dresses let alone try anything on. The process took about six weeks , but the shop is very busy. Cost is not inexpensive, My comparison was against the value of garments that I had kept and enjoyed for several decades. After losing weight, the alternative was a new wardrobe.
