I had no idea that it had expired at the end of Jan 2025 and here we are at the end of February. Good news is I did not get any tickets between the end of Jan and today. Even better news is that this currency exchange was close enough so I could get there on my lunch break. The woman behind the bulletproof glass was very friendly and very fast in taking care of me. It actually took me more time to drive over and back to work than it took to get the new sticker. So for me this was a five start experience: fast and friendly and no ticket. Nice thing about the location was that there was a parking lot, so I didn't have to deal with street parking, although there seemed to be plenty around.

She also made a statement that I was using my mother to send money when I was helping send money for her sister's funeral. I then asked for the managers name and number and she also refused. I said i wouldn't leave until i got the name and she called the police. I would have left but the whole time i was there she kept sending customers away and was being racist toward a non English speaking customer, so i really wanted the managers name. When the cops came, she still refused to help and she tried to press charges for me recording her but they refused. They were claiming their systems were slow, but with a line back up all the way out the door had no sense to inform people of an estimated wait time. Still chit chatting amongst themselves or flirting with customers that were at their window while customers are fuming in an unbelievably long line. Their slowness coupled with their systems being slow was no help. Sept 2014 - Went to get my annual city sticker today since the last one I got in JUNE was a 3 month sticker only. Today there were 3 customers being tended to at the windows and another 6 waiting in line. Not very busy at all (compared to JUNE). And yet their city sticker system went down. Waited until it was your turn to go to the window to tell you instead of announcing it to those waiting in line.They seem content to shorten their line and not willing to help redirect people on where else they can go. Just shrugged their shoulders. Definitely won't be going back to this location again. And seems they are somehow linked to the location near Milwaukee/Central and Belmont/Central, because they said those locations would be down too. So save yourself the trouble and avoid all three locations.

This is the new bus pass that seemed like a seemless process when I came in last week to purchase. I loaded 50.00 to the card at this currency exchange and paid 5.00 for the card and an 2.00 extra for using my debit card. The girl informed me that I could go online and get back the 5.00 that was charged to the card. I said great thank you. I got home registered the card and after doing so checked my balance to make sure the money I paid was on there. Iam here a week later to let them know the balance reads zero.. I thought I was doing something wrong or maybe it took time to load, it is my first experience with a card like this. I gave the gal at the window my receipt of payment and all paperwork that was included including the card. She checked the balance and said it was zero and said she would be shorted if she gave me the money back or reloaded another card and that I had to call customer service. Of course they will do nothing for me since I purchased it here and I explained to her I paid your currency direct not Ventra. I am still here waiting for her to finish her call with Ventra customer service. it is just past 30 minutes and I am not sure how much longer I will be here.
