I would highly recommend Log-istic Logs for your log home project! Buddy and his staff were…read morefriendly, courteous, prompt and kept very open communication throughout the entire project. As a first time log home owner, I had a lot to learn about the proper care of our house and what to look for; and they took the time to educate me about what needs to be done! We had a bad home inspection when we purchased the house, and shortly after moving in we discovered a LOT of rot on the house, deck, porches and the garage. In 2 1/2 weeks, our place went from brown, frumpy and rotting to beautiful, fresh and a beautiful golden color! They also found several structural issues that I can address to further improve the quality of our home. LOL they also were very kind and tolerated my naughty roosters who were not super happy about their territory being invaded. I was also super happy that when they found a nest of baby birds at the point of our roof, they left that area alone and let them fly away before refurbishing it instead of just power-washing them down! It was truly a pleasure to have them around, and our home looks 1000% better than it started out.

Everything seemed fine in the beginning. He was hired to paint the house. He is the owner. When I…read morewent to do a final look over oh, it was clear that this paint job was a rushed job. There was overspray on Windows, other areas of the house we're not fully painted and you could see the original color bleeding through. I gave him a list of things that needed to be corrected in order to be considered completed and he got angry and wanted to charge more. He poured his waste paint into my patio window well making a mess and getting paint on the well and the window. He painted over the door bell button. The job was careless. When I refused to pay more he became threatening sending messages that he would come over and take the paint off the house and take me to court. I ended the contract with him and will finish it myself. He was pleasant until something went wrong and then became threatening. I would not recommend this painter.

I hired Boyd's tree service to cut, remove and grind out 2 large pines, topsoil and seed the areas…read more I specifically asked him, "does that stump grinding quote include all the cleanup, chip removal, and leveling ground to the surrounding area? Just want to make sure because I'm in a wheelchair and cannot do that stuff myself". And, "So to make it look like the trees were never there, it'll be $1,900? How soon can you do it?" They left a very large root sticking up out of the soil on one of them and a big part of the actual stump on the other one was not ground down below the surrounding ground surface and they just covered it up. There were wood chips all over my yard and driveway. There were 1-1/2 inch rock around the trees. When they left, there were rocks all over my yard, way away from where they were working! They were suppose to seed it as well and did not do that either. I text him multiple times to try to find out when he could come back and finish their incomplete job. He ignored my messages a couple times, which is not unusual because I had to text him multiple times to get him to answer me on several other occasions. The owner left about 2 hours before his workers were done and unfortunately I paid him the remaining balance before the work was completely finished. And now I cannot get him to come back and finish grinding the stump out. He also had to return to my father's house to regrind stumps! Just a word of caution if you hire them! I will say, they did a good job cutting the trees down but that's where the good job ended! And now I have to hire someone else to come finish their incomplete stump grinding job. And I had to hire a kid to come help my father rake up all the rock and wood chips, so my lawn mower didn't get damaged or shoot a rock at my neighbors car or house! You can see for yourself, in these pictures, all of these things I've mentioned above. This is what Boyd's considers a finished job!
