They seem to have upped their game regarding the fresh fruit and veg. Lots of lovely pre cut and bagged stuff. (Especially butternut squash, I bloody hate doing that). They now have self scan checkouts also. Big plus cos the q's were awful before. I'll definitely visit more often while I'm on my wee lunch hour walk.

There is also a Co-op travel centre and a Post Office within the building, making it easy to get those important daily tasks done! From around 6/7 each night they have stacks of near - sell by date bread at vastly reduced prices. Great for feeding the ducks at the local Queen's Park!

This shop is one of the worst convenience stores i have ever been to. Unfortunately i have to visit…read morethe store regularly as it is on my way to the bus stop that i use to commute to work but i am always greeted with rude staff. Every time i am forced to wait at the counter for the ladies to complete what ever task they are doing first before they walk over to serve me. This happens almost every day. I am usually in a hurry to catch a bus and this just makes it more difficult. They never apologise for the wait and even sometimes argue between each other about who should be serving me. It feels like by me walking to the counter to buy something that it is an inconvenience to the staff. There is also a ridiculous policy that if yo upay by card you have to spend a minimum of £6! which is awful when you just want to buy a bottle of water. I have to life cash each time i need to go to the store. Then the ladies behind the counter always moan about how they have no change when i present them with a £10 note....what else am i supposed to do? buy things i dont need just to keep them happy? or use my card and spend over £6 even though i just want water? I always feel awkward when i use this store and its because of the bad attitude displayed by all of the women that work in the store in the mornings. Im tempted to change my bus stop to one slightly further away that is beside a much nicer shop just so i no longer need to visit this awful store.

There is also a food hall it is not as big as the one in Glasgow but it still has some really tasty food. They stock a variety of dishes, puddings and crisps for afterwards. They also sell greeting cards and wrapping paper.
