I STUPIDLY had multiple procedures with him since he was more affordable than other places and I still spent close to 5K (well there's a reason WHY he's cheaper because his results are horrifying and vividly uneven) and paid multiple times (which he so conveniently kept expecting to pay more and more for "touch ups" when he continually would screw up and eventually completely butchered me in my abdomen and my arms are completely uneven (he never even touched them when he was supposed to re-touch them on the 2nd surgery because of the excruciating pain that was "in my head" according to him). He even said, "I don't understand why I only took out 550cc's in your right arm and 500cc's in your left, was I asleep when I did your left arm?" Just Unbelievable!!! Now I have to pay another surgeon (I will ONLY go to a board certified plastic surgeon and I recommend you do too) to fix this MESS that Dr. Zimmerman has made of my body. Dr. Zimmerman is NOT a board certified plastic surgeon, nor in my experience is he qualified to do ANYTHING that he does I would find out. I found out I will be required to have a potential fat transfer and a tummy tuck to even possibly fix the huge gauges Dr. Zimmerman did to me. It looks like a literally ice cream scoop of fat was taken it beside my belly button. Also, since he lipoed in that ONE spot SO DEEP, it still constantly burns on my stomach since it's literally a spot where he lipoed a literally hole all the way to the muscle, and then right above it and around it wasn't even touched! I was also told by two other qualified doctors that I should NEVER have felt hat level of pain during the procedure period and that this man is clearly unprofessional and dangerous! I mean this is a person's BODY we're talking about, not some general product or service! To be treated so carelessly like a piece of worthless meat as he did to me is just inexcusable in my mind. The procedures were excruciatingly painful for starters, of which he would blame me for it being "in my head" and then turn around and say "of course it's going to hurt?!" And "this is why I couldn't finish and do a quality job because YOU 'said' you felt pain!" Whaaat??? This is why a surgeon is supposed to use decent local anesthesia, of which he said he has no use for since it would cost him more (he actually said it would be 8K for anesthesia anywhere else, which is ludicrous since I had a breast reduction in 2015 and it was NOT even close to that) His medical assistant even mentioned to me on be side that "several patients" have complained of the high level of pain they have felt from Dr. Z, but he doesn't seem to think its a problem?! Really?!! I mean you're joking right?! Lastly, I was never offered pain meds afterwards, any after care instructions except "I'll call ya later" (and he called 4 days later) nor a compression garment. He used MAXI PADS on my wounds and when I came back to show him my botched results a month later, he told me I quote "it's no big deal.. Don't worry about it?!" Ugh, REALLY???!!! Umm, ok sure Doc, around $5,000 later with HORRIFYING unevenness and gawd awful PAINFUL deep gauges you tell me, "don't worry about it!" Needless to say folks, I think Dr. Zimmerman will be hearing from my lawyer soon if he doesn't come to his senses and at the VERY least return my monies paid, which only helps a tad to even begin to figure this mess out and find someone qualified to even fix this horror show! Last note: I had based my decision to go with him off of very positive Real Self reviews which how conveniently had NO pictures attached to them. Hmmm, yeah, I totally believe all the Real Self reviews are completely 100% FAKE now! What a sad, expensive, PAINFUL, atrocious mistake I made! PLEASE don't make this mistake too. Run away as fast as you can from Dr. Zimmerman at Purely You! Go to a REAL Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and avoid this careless butcher like the plague! Update: It's going to cost me 3K just to get the one arm and the misc part of my abdomen somewhat fixed by a board certified plastic surgeon.
