Ive had a wonderful experience with the whole team at Brian's Spetic Service. They have gone above and beyond to try to fix the issue I've been having for the past few months. Stephanie and Sherrie in the office are always so sweet on the phone. I appreciate them remembering me when I call and get me on the schedule right away to get help. Kenny and Jake have been working on my problem multiple times this week and are amazing! This is not a review you can't wait to do for a service you would rather not think about but everybody has to go and if you are not on a sewer system then a septic tank is what you have to contend with. When the system starts to fail it's time to get busy replacing the septic system. In our case we got almost 44 years out of the tank and drain field without once having a squishy yard and did not have to pump out the tank for the first time until about 4 months ago. I put that down to my wife really reading the pamphlet about the "magic box" that came with her new home and diligently avoiding putting anything down the drain that the pamphlet said not to. From estimate to completion took about 3 weeks but the actual install was completed in one day. Brian was great to work with and his crew was top notch too. I got to feel like a kid again sitting on the front porch watching them work. Now we get to spend a few weeks deciding on a plan for the front yard. With our proximity to Lake Jackson we would like something a little more environmentally friendly than a lawn but we shall see how that fits in the budget. read more

Our main drain field was in need of replacement due to being inundated with roots causing septic back up. After the long process of waiting for a city soil inspector to inspect, request a city permit, and give his blessing, it was just over two months out. While waiting for the permit to be finalized, I requested 5 estimates from various recommended septic companies in town. While Brian's Septic is highly recommended, their estimates and quotes can be a bit higher than others (had an issue before moving into our home where we got a quote), so I was not thinking we would go with them to complete the work initially. To my surprise, Brian's quote was the lowest, with a margin of being 9K under the highest bidder's quote. Being that I knew Brian's Septic does work of quality, I was excited to ask them to take our job. In less than 48 hours Brian already booked the work and got it done, despite one of the work days being a holiday. Called at 8:15 am this morning because we discovered our septic tank bubbling and the pump test light not working. Spoke with Sherry and she was awesome! Friendly and informative. She said Keith would be out to help us by lunch time. He called and asked if he could come out earlier. He was here by 10, diagnosed the issues, pumped our 3 tanks and courteously advised us on maintenance and finished before 11 am. Fantastic service! Imagine - you get home, start to relax from a hard days work and you hear the daunting sound of your septic tank high water alarm blaring for all to hear! Not a great feeling! But I called Brian's Septic Service and they were kind enough to, after hours, chat with me to try and trouble shoot the issue to determine the cause - unfortunately, the issue was outside of my basic white girl skills and abilities! I was unable to stay in my home that night due to no water usage! The next day I received a call from Kenny (whom I spoke to during my after hours chat) and he was able to get me onto the service list on a very busy Friday! Kenny, and brand new tech guy Ricky, showed up, displayed the upmost professionalism, quickly determined the overall issue, and was able to get me out of a world of s***, I mean poop - literally! We just had our septic tank pumped out. Kenny and his young helper came out in the small truck to do the job. They did a wonderful job of navigating around all the trees to get to our septic system which is located on the far side of the house. They quickly found the access port and dug it out. Kenny explained everything he did and showed us problems with our system. He loves his job and loves working for Brian and it shows. I got transferred up to Tennessee two years back and had no luck selling my Tallahassee house so now I'm unfortunately a landlord. It sucks when the monthly rent you're collecting doesn't even cover your mortgage payment but it sucks even more when you get a call with a problem that's going to cost you even more money. I saw that number come up on the caller ID late this morning. The septic tank needed pumping I was told. A quick Google search pulled up Brian's Septic Service and reminded me of when I used him several years back and how impressed I was with the overall business transaction. Brian answered my call and pleased me when he told me he could get out to the house the same day. He gave what I felt was a fair price and let me know he'd call me after the service was complete, which he did a few hours later. Brian is the type of business owner that I like to support. In my business, I train my employees to never say "you're welcome". If our customers thank us, we thank them. I noticed that both times I thanked Brian today, he followed up with a thank you to me. I called Miller's Septic after a referral from Greg (the owner's) brother, Brian's Septic. I was told my deck was built over the septic and had to have it removed before they could do anything. That was on a Tuesday. I had it removed Wednesday. Thursday they came back out and told me my lid was too large so they would have to have help and couldn't do that until Monday. By this time I had been without plumbing/washing capabilities in my house for nearly a week. They ASSURED me they would be out at 9:00 on Monday. At 11:00 WITHOUT SO MUCH AS LOOKING AT IT OR TRYING TO LIFT THEY LID they told me to call another Septic service. In other words, too much trouble in spite of the fact they had assessed the entire thing four days earlier. They could have told me then but NO...had me wait another four days to have two trucks (one not working, apparently) show up and a mere..."sorry, mam, call Apalachee Septic" and they were on their way.
