She felt over-whelmed and asked my husband and me to coordinate getting the problem solved for her even though we are located in Jacksonville. While other companies could not give her an appointment until the following Monday, Greg's Company came the next day (thankfully there was a break in the rain), a Saturday, and pumped out her two tanks. It was also discovered that there was no electricity getting to the pump, and then discovered that the pump had gone out. Greg and his associate Casey talked with us by phone throughout the whole process of getting all the issues resolved, both before work ensued and on-site as work was in progress. By the way, my husband is a licensed building contractor and is the one who installed the pump over five years previously, so he knew it was indeed time for a new one. They returned and installed the new pump later the next week, and we used the electrician they frequently work with to solve the electrical issues. They were cordial and reassuring to my mother and did an efficient and professional job. The prices were very reasonable. The other reviews that some people have written that are negative have us scratching our heads. We are very pleased with Greg Miller Septic Services and appreciate them. Thank you, Greg and Casey!

My toilets were also making gurgling noises after system replacement and no one would ever actually show when they said. I finally contacted the Better Business Bureau and they ignored them as well. Thankfully, I didn't pay everything up front as they requested or I would've probably gotten even less finished! I still paid for a job they neglected to finish and had to clean up everything they left in my yard myself.

So I called the office and they help walk us thru everything. That's when it went astray. They had one of their foreman's bring the paperwork to us to sign and give them a check. I asked if the amount was for everything, he wasn't sure but the woman in the truck was telling him it was. She got out and assured me that the amount of the check was the full price. I get an e-mail a week later with quotes that need to be signed and the amount had an additional $500 added. When I question it they said it was for the environmentalist, but the woman that came to our house said that was included in the amount on the check. Finally they took the $500 off and we proceeded with the job. We started this process in Oct and we are still working on it (Feb). It was supposed to be a 1 day job but I had to take 3 days off work. The first day they were supposed to be at my house at 8:30 am. I received a call at 8:00 am saying a part didn't come in but the electrician was still coming so had to still stay home all day. The 2nd day they were supposed to be at my house around 8:30-9:00 am (only 3 people came), they didn't get there until about 10:30 am. They worked the whole day, the inspector showed up at the scheduled appointment time and they weren't even close to being ready for him. The inspector came back close to 4:00 pm and they still were not close. They didn't leave until dark. They told me they would have to come back tomorrow. I had to contact my supervisor to request an additional day off. Day 3 they came back (only 2 people) around 9:30 am they worked most the day but when they went to lunch they took my phone number and said they would call me when they were headed back. They never called and took at least one and a half hour lunch. They broke a water pipe, tore out several of our underground sprinklers (didn't cape any of them off) left part of the PVC pipe sticking out of the ground, never finished leveling out our yard. Tore up the yard with the big equipment, tore our driveway up and hit our electric gate bending it. The next day I was expecting the Malphurs to contact me about our gate. I never heard from them so I called. I asked what we were going to do about the gate. I was told nothing today. I wasn't expecting them to come out in the pouring rain but an apology or something would have been nice. Now they won't answer my calls or e-mails. We are going to have to replace our own gate and pay someone else to come finish leveling out our yard. They are supposed to come check the new system in 6 months but I'm pretty sure that won't happen either. So whatever you do make sure everything is in writing as to any damages that accrue days needed to complete the project or expect to pay for the damages they do and to have someone else check your new system.
