I enjoy my visits because the staff is lovely and kind. Doc has wonderful bedside banner and always puts up with my chatty cathiness and my at times bad jokes as coping mechanisms to anxiety. I have been very pleased with his work and the beautiful symmetry and shapes to my new breasts. We are not 100% done with my care but 90% of the way and I could not have asked for a better outcome. Entering to a preventative removal situation is a large and difficult decision but he has been great and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can move on with confidence. Doc gave me the beauty on the outside to match my inner confidence especially after this double mastectomy journey. He cares about his patients.

Bhatia finished my sentence with the comment "so you had a drug problem " - well , no I did not and I was very confused and upset as she continued to press that issue. I have been disabled since 2006 and never had anyone make me feel so disrespected and humiliated. Because of that dr. I have not returned to see a dr. Period. I am ashamed to admit I need my medicine and I can't boost my confidence up enough to talk to another dr. I'm ashamed of my mental illness and don't know what I did to deserve her negativity and hateful attitude...be aware of her disposition before you make the appointment and act accordingly or you may end up with a personality conflict If you don't agree with her. - my personal opinion

I never saw or talked with my surgeon even once after my surgery. No one contacted me after surgery to see how I was doing, I had to contact them through their one NP. I was in such pain that I called their after hours number but no one called me back, and that was especially unacceptable. This hernia surgery might be considered routine for this doctor, but it certainly was not for me!
