I am so glad I found Brain Stevens on Yelp. He was able to rescue us from our old State Farm Agent Andress Jeffress. It was so disappointing after many years with her started when my parents signed up with her agency. She does not know what customer service is. oops, I forgot to review Brian! I have been with him since 2005 and he and his staff have been amazing with adjusting my policy over the years to fit all my major life events. I was referred to him by a friend, I have only been to the office once and everything I have ever needed has been done over the phone or via email. It seems I am always misplacing my insurance cards and I have to call to get replacements. I usually have an email within minutes of my call with replacement cards. I have used Statefarm for a while, with it being my first insurance policy as a young adult I ignored a lot of signs and stayed with them despite problem after problem. I am writing this review to share my experience to hopefully help someone else avoid the issues I have dealt with through this company. FIRST incident, something I have always been frustrated with was my rates CONSTANTLY changing, when ever I ask about this the responses I got where "when ever there are more accidents in the area, even if it not you it affects your rate personally". However it wasn't every six months my rate would change, they would send me a new 6 month agreement with a new rate, basically whenever. I constantly had new insurance cards (so I had to switch them out in my car all the time which is inconvenient if I'm being honest). Moving on. SECOND incident, I made a move to Colorado this past year, Spoke to agents in this office about the move and was transferred to an office here in Colorado (NOT ANY BETTER). Went over the coverage with the representative in Colorado and assumed I got the coverage switched over considering I talked to two different agents, in two different states, but nope. Contacted them AGAIN after not receiving any emails, finally got coverage in co after 2 weeks or so of living here. THIRD incident. I got into a car accident here in CO, unfortunately my car was totalled. Throughout the process with Statefarm 2 other major incident happened, so really this is the third and forth incidents all bundled up in one. With my car being totalled I purchased a new 2018 Jeep compass, I spoke to a man here in CO even went in to speak with him with my husband signed papers got everything printed out and quotes for the coverage on my new car. WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH THE PAPERWORK I GOT FROM THIS MAN AT STATEFARM. I purchased my new vehicle UNDER THE IMPRESSION I WAS FULLY COVERED (in fact it was required for me to have the vehicle covered to drive it off the lot!) and a month or two later learned I have been driving my brand new car around completely uninsured. This just absolutely blew my mind......... I had PAPERWORK I gave to the dealership proving I was insured?? I leaned this by getting a letter from state farm dropping me for having one accident, changing a windshield, and using roadside on two different vehicles I had insured with them, so I used to many claims..... I was honestly shocked, I've never heard of someone dropping you for using roadside or changing a windshield but fine, what was not fine was my brand new car not being insured for a couple months. I CALLED AND SPOKE TO SOMEONE IN YOUR OFFICE and discussed this letter because 1. I was confused on why they wouldn't want to insure us and 2. I was upset they were still insuring the car THEY TOTALLED AND TOWED OUT OF MY GARAGE. After this conversation it was made clear to me that I was not insured with state farm I even asked about my renters policy because I was going to purchase a different policy (Obviously). Now I have noticed they are still charging my for renters and life insurance. I called to discuss with with an agent yesterday and honestly haven't been more upset with a customer service representative, he continued to repeat himself no matter what information I said, he said, "if that happened there would have been notes or you would have talked about this already" implying that what I was saying DIDN'T happen. I don't appreciate the way your company has treated me throughout ALL my time with you and I really didn't appreciate the gentleman I talked to yesterday. He made my feel unappreciated as a consumer, unheard, and just not helped. What I want is simple I was the money returned to me from March till June because to MY KNOWLEDGE I was not insured by this company. Whether the procedure was done correctly or its not really my fault. Considering how many time things weren't done like they said they were going to be I feel the company needs to do its best to fix this situation. However if not at least hopefully I can help someone else avoid the headache. MANAGEMENT I NEED YOU TO REACH OUT TO ME ABOUT THIS I TOLD THE AGENT YESTERDAY I NEEDED TO SPEAK TO YOU WAS TOLD IS WAS NOW CANCELLED HOWEVER HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY EMAIL OR CALL FROM "KEN'' TO CANCEL MY LIFE INSURANCE, WHO THE AGENT I SPOKE TO YESTERDAY I BELIEVE HIS NAME WAS ''HUNTER'' SAID WOULD CALL ME. SO OBVIOUSLY I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT ANYTHING HAS CHANGED EVEN THOUGH I CALLED YESTERDAY. I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE ANY INSURANCE THROUGH YOUR COMPANY I NEED TO MAKE SURE THIS IS CLEAR. read more

Let's just say, it makes sense to shop at different supermarket once in a while. We have had our personal insurance with the same agent for over 17 years. In fact, our original agent retired and passed us along to his successor. You think you are getting the best pricing because isn't that what your longtime agent should be providing you? No, it seems that their concern is just finding new clients. After talking with Brian he showed me gaps in my coverage as well as coverage I didn't actually need that I was paying for. The best advice he gave me on one policy was to stay right where I am as this is good coverage at a good price. I'm glad I met Brian and that we've added him as our personal agent. read more

Just need to put a shout out to my girl Isela at this office. Had to go in to take care of some complicated insurance matters and need questions answered and information explained to me. Most other insurance companies I've gone too treat you like a number and get you in an out as quick as possible. But not this girl, I was immediately just met with kindness and hospitality by this woman, who by the way knows her stuff. She sat down with me I explained my situation, my questions and the things I was not quite understanding. Isela immediately went into gear and went through these things one by one and I felt she went above and beyond for me. She took the time to make sure I understood it went over things a few times that I was not quite understanding and even offered more info that was not given to me at the time by the other party and just made sure I had the knowledge I needed for this matter before I left out the door. This is just such a great and phenomenal insurance company and Isela was just the star of this place for me. I know I will continue my buisness with them, just by the actions and kindness of this woman. Customer service is not what it used to be and I see that with other businesses, but not these guys. If your looking for a company that treats you more like family than just another number, this is the place to go, if you want excellent customer service, just stop by and see my girl Isela and she will take care of you in the best way possible. I can't believe it's taken me this long to write this review for such a great insurance agent and office. My husband and I were one of Brian's first customers, about 16 years ago. Actually, his doors weren't even open to the public yet. We were actually in that shopping center for something else and just happened to pop in there to say hi. We had just relocated from another state and had to transfer over all of our insurance to a local State Farm office. We really liked Brian the minute we met him. Brian spent about 2 1/2 hours with us, and went over our policy(s). At no time did he push additional coverage. He did let us know what additional coverage was available, explained everything in detail, and gave us the option of choosing. We have had State Farm coverage for 12 years.
