I tried to dig out the ingrowns on my own, but only seemed to make them shorter and harder to reach. It got to the point where I could no longer walk without excruciating pain. Even socks, and house slippers were painful to the touch. Let alone blankets touching my toes. I was happy to get a 5:15pm appointment, so this way my hubby didn't have to miss any work and he was able to take me to my appointment. Finally got in to see Dr. Coxx and within 20 minutes he extracted 4 deeply embedded ingrown nails that I would have never been able to extract by myself.
