It's a good thing that my wife and I hired Brian to represent us as first time homebuyers! Brian was able to walk us through the process and made sure we knew what to expect. He makes the whole buying experience truly about his clients by taking the "selling" out of the way and actually consulting and listening to his clients. Where Brian really shined was when we went into escrow 3 days before we left on an international trip. Brian made sure all of our ducks were in a row prior to leaving and seamlessly handled our transaction to where very little work was needed on our end when we returned 5 days from closing! TL;DR : Hire this man!

He also recommended an excellent handyman who performed the needed work. His guidance on how to stage the home was very helpful. He showed that his knowledge of the local market was spot on by setting a listing price that brought interested parties (and was higher than I would have listed it). He explained all the offers that were made and his interpretation of the what they meant and his thoughts of the potential buyers limits and walked us through the mounds of paperwork. Through his negotiating skills and tenacity, the home was sold in two weeks ( at well above my lower limit). Can't recommend him enough

We were blessed to have been referred to Eric by a friend of my fiancé's. From beginning to end, Eric was very friendly, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable of the home-buying process. Being from LA meant we could only be in SD on the weekends, but Eric was very flexible with our schedule. He listened to what requirements we were looking for and wasted no time in getting us set-up online so we could begin favoriting homes we would want to see. On our first day with him, we were able to fit about 10 showings- almost all the homes we had favorited. While looking at homes, he provided us with genuine and transparent feedback about different areas, buildings, and properties (and even pointed out things that might bother us later that we didn't realize at the moment!). He was very patient; never rushed us, never pressured us to put an offer, and honestly just felt like a friend during the whole process. When we were ready to put an offer on the condo we loved, his expertise was invaluable in making our offer competitive while also making sure we were comfortable with it. We were so excited when our offer was accepted, beating other offers! During the escrow process, he was great about keeping us posted with every update. He kept us in the loop via text consistently. When we didn't hear back from someone or worried about something, he reached out to the appropriate people for us. He honestly made the process so much less stressful and advocated for us the whole way. Communication is huge and we appreciated so much that he was consistently in touch with us via both text and email. With Eric's help we got our offer accepted and purchased our dream condo, closing escrow in only 23 days (the lenders he recommended were also great, super efficient and easy to communicate with). If you ever want to buy or sell in SD, you are in good hands with Eric. We highly recommend him and wouldn't use anyone else!

The experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. At our initial meeting we were immediately impressed with his very detailed marketing plan. He answered all our questions and made us feel at ease. He is intuitive and genuinely interested and skilled in his craft. We put our home on the market during a very challenging economic and geopolitical time. Home sales were down and we anticipated that selling the house would be a difficult task. He presented a portfolio outlining his exact process and his attention to detail was stellar. The home is over 70 years old and we were selling it in as-is condition. That, too, provided its own set of challenges. We were beyond impressed with Phil's professionalism, organization and strategy moving forward. We felt confident he would do his best for us. And that he did! His follow thru was exact, his networking superb, his guidance unending and only one weekend of Open House was required as part of his marketing plan before we were in escrow. Not only was it a successful selling campaign, but because of the strong connection he has within the real estate community, our home closed escrow and was sold in a mere 12 days. Most importantly, though, was the way Phil proved himself to be the consummate professional, a man who relies on open honest communication, ethical business practice and genuine care for his client. Our family had a great deal of difficulty closing this chapter of our lives; selling the family home where we grew up. Phil was genuinely thoughtful and empathetic as he guided us through the process, and oh so patient. He kept our needs at the forefront of all he did. We recently relocated from Orange County to Oceanside. We had been looking for the right house for 2 years with a different broker. We were almost ready to give up. That's when we sat down to discuss what we were looking for with Eric. He quickly grasped what we were trying to find, answered our questions confidently, competently, without reservation and with complete clarity. He surpassed every one of our very high expectations. Eric immediately put our minds at ease every step of the way. He didn't waste any time in helping us find exactly what we had been looking for all along. He lined up many great places for us to visit, educated us more and more with regards to property and process and gave us his full support and attention at all times. He was very responsive and answered all our texts, emails, & telephone calls almost immediately. Moreover, he would call us (phone call with a voice! Unheard of these days!) to give us a "heads' up" when a document was on its' way so we'd be ready. If we let a signature slip by us, he'd was immediately on top of matters, taking good care of us, making sure everything got done correctly. He made us feel like we were his only clients. His calm demeanor coupled with his superior knowledge kept everything under control at all times, which was beyond priceless, considering my husband's radically LONG list of very specific demands and requirements. When we found what we were looking for, Eric helped us write a strong and solid offer, which was accepted. After that, he went on to expertly handle every detail. He got us the house we really wanted with a tough negotiation with the seller. Eric delivered exactly what we wanted, with a charismatic smile that lights up a room. Classy indeed. We would definitely work with him and only him again. We thank you again for everything, Eric!
