No one here smiles. From the receptionist, to the medical assistant, to my actual provider, Dr. Sarah Prince. It doesn't even matter if you attempt to kill them with kindness. Their care and energy is still cold and dismissive. I asked the MA how was here day (bc she didn't even greet me) her response was a very cold and flat "Busy!". My provider literally walks away from me as I am describing my concerns to her...like LITERALLY WALKING AWAY WHILE PUSHING HER COMPUTER ON WHEELS! I understand being busy but you can't take the care out of healthcare. This saddens me bc I'm seeing less care overall in Healthcare. It's appears medical facilities are more concerned with beating the clock and just shuffling patients out the door. Hospitals are more concerned with treating the stats and charts rather than the care of patients. As a clinician this is scary and disheartening. I was VERY happy with the care and staff in Stafford. Since the move to F'burg the staff care is less than desirable. The staff that answers the phone are almost always rude. The care that I receive is rushed and the providers are more focused on getting you out the door in a set amount of time than genuinely listening to your concerns with empathy. I am a registered nurse and am simply offended and appalled at the care and concern (or the lack thereof) rendered. I will be finding a different provider. I have NEVER had satisfactory visit at Pratt (neither the General medical side nor Gastro). Simply appalled! How this place has four stars absolutely blows my mind. If I could give it a negative number, I would. **** 3/29/2024 UPDATE*** I wish this revision to this review was to report improvement however, if anything it has gotten worse. No one here smiles. They bill everything incorrectly to your insurance company and then you have to fight everything. They have so many different departments within their billing for different things and NO ONE is helpful. I have spoken to more people than I can count about paying my bills for the past 6 months. My mom even went here and was charged incorrectly for a bill that was over $500 because they billed her insurance wrong. She was sent to collections while she was fighting that and had to pay that or appear in court. She is now out the money. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this place and Mary Washington Hospital. I would literally go anywhere else. Update- two weeks after writing my review and I still am unable to pay my bills. I honestly can't stress enough to not come here. You call the number provided on your bills to make a payment and they say you owe nothing, but then you're handed over to collections for not paying your bills. I honestly am unaware how a healthcare place can be this unorganized. I would seriously give this place negative reviews if I could.

Scheduled an appointment at 11:30 a.m. arrived early to cover insurance and paper work. I have been to this clinic several times at their stafford location and never had an issue regarding staff, doctors, or insurance. The front desk receptionist were not welcoming. I walked in and notified them that I had an appointment at 11:30. " I need I.D. And insurance card" was the response I given. The receptionist Didn't ask my name or greet me which threw me off because staff is generally really nice. Unfortunately, I did not have my insurance card. Being that I am still college, I am insured through my parents. Not a physical cop but, I had my Fathers insurance card ( who is the policy holder) . I offered to send electronic copy through email, before I could finish my sentence the receptionist cuts me off and says, "We will have to reschedule if you don't have your card and we don't accept insurance info through email". she called the manager to tell them that I simply just showed up to my appointment with out an insurance card. Failing to mention I was a previous client with a card on file and a copy of my policy holders insurance information. I traveled an hour for this visit because Dr.Wilkes is amazing I did not want to leave without being seen because it was an emergency. I had been to this clinic multiple times, MY INSURANCE INFORMATION WAS STILL ON FILE . This was shared with me after she ran my fathers insurance information noticed that the number did not match THE INSURANCE INFORMATION THAT WAS ON FILE . After 45 minutes of debating, I am now late for my appointment and can not be seen. This debate could have been avoided if I simply had my insurance card ... true. But life happens and you lose things, and if my insurance was on file...even if it was from a previous visit I am not sure why they could not use my information. If incorrect ... why could I have not been billed later? Between being on hold on for 15 minutes + when trying to make this appointment, the rude demeanor of the receptionist, the lack of empathy, unprofessionalism, the manager being cowardly and not communicating with me- but having their receptionist walk back and forth from their office to notify me of bad news, and the ridiculous drive to get to the clinic... I will not be returning.

After being diagnosed with having a high risk pregnancy, (high blood pressure) all the doctors were incredibly watchful and checked on me and took every pre-caution from the minute I found out I was pregnant with my first child to my post-partum appointment. It really started with the wonderful, caring, relatable, authentic, and reassuring Dr. Gleason, who was able to pin point why I kept having miscarriages (under active thyroid) to the how quickly the team acted under Dr. Adenle when I hemorrhaged immediately after giving birth, my care was stupendous every step of the way. With out this amazing team of doctors, I wouldn't have my beautiful healthy baby girl, and may not be here. I will only go to WHSC for all my ob/gyn needs from here on out.

They just have too many patients now! Also, last year after my annual exam appointment, a nurse called with test results and read my incorrect test results from my appointment the year before and not my current test. It was unsettling. I just think this practice has become a factory trying to see as many people as possible, but losing relationships and attention to detail along the way. So sad.
