I am civil-litigation lawyer, and another family-law lawyer referred me to Bill Blasser (Blasser) and Blasser Law. It was a good referral, and I am grateful to that family-law lawyer for the referral. Now I am attempting to refer other people in need to Blasser Law. Blasser represented me in a dissolution action that was successfully settled. My wife hired two different law firms and ended up firing them both. Her firms did nothing but charge her large amounts of money and file frivolous pleadings and requests for orders. All of the advice Blasser gave me along the way turned out to be absolutely correct. He is an experienced and well-known attorney in the family-law courts. The judges know him and like him. He was able to handle my case without me worrying about it. When I needed to reach him, he was responsive. I found the quality of his legal work, writing, and research to be well above average. When I first inquired his office, I chose to have him represent me in a civil DVRO. He quoted me $3500 for domestic violence restraining order and $6000 for divorce. He wanted a 5000 retainer and when I got to his office he was making comments " I just want your money give me all your money with a big smile on his face." I asked him about my court ordered visitation with my son and he couldn't even do that for me. This man is a criminal and should be charged with extortion.!!! it states on the contract that phone calls between attorney and client will not be charged on basis of billing. Since firing him and relieving him of serving me, he still tries to bill me and I receive invoices with no explanation on the invoices. This man is a thief and I highly advise you to stay far away from him!!!!! His staff is very unprofessional with minimal communication between himself and staff. I have 6 kids and 4 were wrongly taken away from me. He gave me hope when I didn't have any. He was with me every step of the way. He showed up at every court case by my side. He knows the law and he knows when a judge is wrong. I had gotten my six kids taken away from me for failing to protect two by continuing to let the father visit with his kids. He knew the law and he fought hard to overturn the judges ruling. He helped me out to do everything I had to do and more to reunite with my kids. He did my appeal because he knew the court was wrong for taking away my other four kids that had nothing to do with the situation. With the appeal he did for me the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division two returned four of my children back into my custody because they ruled that the judge improperly found that I had a history of mental health problems and engagement in domestic violence when deciding that my children should be put under county care. I couldn't have done this myself or asked for another lawyer. He is the real deal and he will get the job done. I now have my family back together and we are happy moving forward all because of Mr. Shinton and his hard work and knowledge. I highly recommend Mr. Shinton. His services are worth every penny. They failed at serving Xspose. so I had to. when they filed RFO it was missing the important documents that the court requires. In my option they were grssly neglectful and incompetent with post judgement spousal support modifications. The attorney said to me this is going to cost you some money. I felt bullied.
