The plan of care that had been followed for about a decade had prevented me from unnecessary suffering and grown me some healthy nails, was a thing of the past. Well. "new provider", that's what she called herself, declared she would no longer be following that plan and if I came back I would have to pay out of pocket for care unless there was a problem. There is no more preventative care unless you are a diabetic. Then I was able to read her post visit notes that included things not addressed but documented as discussed. Minimal care was provided. I find that reprehensible. I was in shock at the manner in which I had been treated. Call me old school, but, I would never speak to any patient in such a manner. Unfortunately, moving on.
