However he (obviously) acted (beyond) poor minded as ignorant in my (DISCRIMINATION with HEALTH ABUSE) case as he hasn't provided neither any right healthcare treatment nor professional as human needed support needed in which instance he should have done both but he horribly as horrendously intentionally failed at, so my close family and the informed local police department abused me a lot because of his professional healthcare negligence and inhuman treatment applied. To make matters a lot worse not to look to be at any fault, he most likely wanted to pass me for my mother's and brother's combined level of insanity that he's well aware of and that I don't have any of it. However, I do have a lot of frustration because of all maltreatment not well received nor could be tolerated, which is a quite normal reaction once you're aggressed, abused, and ignored to normally react right, and just because of that you don't have to be also inhumanly as badly tortured by anyone as all bad and careless people around. I came in to get foot surgery for a bone deformity I wanted to get fixed. Zahari was not…read moretransparent about ANY of the details of the surgery - I did not expect four inch long scars on my feet, nor was I told that half my foot could go permanently go numb. I asked him if I would be able to still play tennis a year after surgery. He said yes. I still cannot play tennis to this day four years later without risking an ankle injury. My ankles are permanently swollen. I even did PT after surgery and it barely helped. Zahari will keep you coming in each month and do the BARE MINIMUM within a five minute appointment and then keep peppering you on to keep coming in. At one of these post op appointments he gave me an injection which he did not give me a single detail about what was being injected before he stuck a two inch needle in my ankle. I don't regret having my surgeries but I am extremely devastated about the situation I have to live with for the rest of my life now being in constant pain. Not to mention, I was given CHILDREN'S PAIN MEDICINE after a serious foot surgery which obviously did not help at all and I suffered the most extreme pain of my life the first 48 hours post surgery because I was feeling everything at full capacity.

Finally, I made an appointment with Dr. Jennifer Gertesien, D.P.M. at Dr. Kane & Associates (AKA Westland Podiatry). Making the appointment was very easy and they were very flexible in scheduling around my work hours. Them morning I went in I had forgotten my insurance ID card, and the receptionist spent a good solid 1/2 hour on the phone tracking down the necessary information to get me in. That was truly above and beyond! I got into the office and had x-rays of my feet taken for a baseline (they were very good about explaining everything they were doing and why). Then I was given a foot "whirlpool bath", which was pretty enjoyable, and a technician even came around when it was over to dry off my feet for me. The Dr. reviewed the x-rays and examined my feet, giving me advice on care and cleaning up some of the callouses on my heel. I really like Dr. Gerteisen's "bedside manner " and the visit was a very informative. I'm looking forward to going back next year (nothing bad found wrong on this visit)!

I started seeing Dr. Jennifer Gerteisen in October of 2024. As of November 2025 my foot is 99% healed. She tried other techniques that none of the others tried.
