What's more when asked what was happening to the inventory we were almost scolded for the query...to quote: "I'm doing the jobs of 11 people, I can only do so much, I'm taking care of 11 acres of plants and trees so you get what you get!!" Yup, with that customer service, you'll get what you get.

I needed a weeping cherry tree. I went around to the usual places and while they had cherry trees the were not of the quality i was looking for. I did not want a Home Depot tree or something in a 10 gallon container. I want a TREE. Okay. So I drive down to Plymo with the intention of getting a tree. I walk through the nursery and realize there are several different specimens that I would like. The owner comes to my rescue and careful tells me about the differences between the trees and I make my final deciscion. This is where things take a turn. The owner motions to the help to get a special tree lifting type of machine. The person maneuvers the equipment and snatches the tree up. I am know faced with the problem. I paid for the tree... I think it was over $300. The tree is now out of the ground and I can fully see the root ball - it is roughly the size of a VW Beetle. The ask were the truck is and I motion towards my small Toyota Tacoma. The nursery folk ask how I plan on planting the tree and I say off my girlfriend and I will. They laugh and suggest I buy some beer and invite my guy friends over. By this time I am crying on the inside knowing this is going to be a disaster. They are kind enough to give me some very comprehensive planting instructions and wrap it up in landscaping fabric for the journey home. Fast forward to the planting. It was a disaster. The tree fell off of the ingenious Rube Goldberg contraption I had devised to plant the tree and land on my foot. I was lucky enough to be able to fire up the old Range Rover's winch and through a series of intricate pulleys winch the huge tree across the lawn to is respective location. Katsura is a great place to go. They have a lot of specimen trees and Japanese maples, but just be aware that some of the trees are larger then they appear.

Not only is she the consummate professional, she really knows her stuff…read more I needed help in landscaping my family's front yard - as a surprise - and needed it to be beautiful and low maintenance. A friend recommended Rebecca and I am so happy she did. Since it is summer, this is her busy season yet she still found time to come out to the site, do some hands on 'study' of the property, asked for my price point and went to work. I am not a gardener - plants run when they see me coming - so her patience and constant reassurance was key and soothing. She showed up with her Jeep, her tools, iced tea and wonderful smile... and she put me to work (I volunteered) so I could get a feel for things. Ever the perfectionist, Rebecca delivered just what I needed and wanted. Again, not knowing the first thing about plants, green things or the costs of such work, I asked my wine drinking housewife friends about the pricing and they all assured me it was very good and competitive. If you need a little something special done with a nice feminine touch and personable one-on-one serviceability, look no further. Rebecca is your gal pal. AND dogs love her.

The list of failures would cause a doctor to lose their license, but fortunately for Duxbury Gardeners there is no meaningful licensure in Massachusetts. Less than a year in, the stonework separated from spa, a retaining wall failed, 10 plantings died and that was AFTER the construction woes of COLLAPSING the pool company's plumbing, cutting marked underground cables, the fire pit had to be replaced (twice - "it was a known defect", why put in something that is known to be defective???) and most notably running over the septic system line despite having been informed on location (and obviously having plans) - even after being told "you know - that's not a good idea" they asked my wife anticipating that somehow women aren't intelligent. Jason is a nice guy and good crayon drawer but this company is a pure nightmare. Hard to admit making a mistake that cost this amount of money, but hopefully it saves someone else some a bigger headache. This company will leave you with a lot more to clean up than just the cigarette butts they toss on your lawn.

We live on the marsh and are constantly exposed to high winds and salt. We wanted something that would look nice, be low maintenance and could withstand the elements. Matt gave us fantastic ideas! Best if all it is going to be a yard that will be maintenance free and look amazing year after year. You will be very happy with this company. They are so easy to work with, have great ideas and intall everything on a timely basis. Thanks for making our new home look beautiful!

The best part is the Living History Museum where you can wander in and out of houses constructed for the time period. They also have goats and sheep!!! Sooo cute. We came in November where it was Thanksgiving preparation in the village. Felt like going back in time. The Mayflower 2 is a reconstruction of the ship and cool to walk through. Great bang for your buck if you like learning or history or just sight-seeing.

I'm pretty sure the pilgrims wouldn't have been ok with gender fluidity. Also, we found several of the cast members to be rude and condescending when answering our questions. We've been studying the pilgrims in our lessons and my 8 year old daughter actually knows a lot about them. When we playfully sparked conversation using some of our knowledge and asking questions several of them said we were flat out wrong with our information and quite rude. I guess their version of history is somewhat different than the truth. A very "woke" version. We won't be back. We spent a lot of money to be treated like cattle and expose my children to leftist ideological BS.
